The provider was able to get the part the same day, which we appreciated.  They provided great customer service and I felt that he went above and beyond what he needed to do. 

Based on my initial experience, I'd have given him an A. He was prompt & pleasant, got it running with much effort & a new part. But the next day it wouldn't go on. I left a pleasant message, didn't lay blame for the failure. A couple of days later, when I hadn't received a return call, I called again, wondering if he was out of town & pointing out that we didn't necessarily consider this to be warranty work; we were perfectly willing to accept that it could have been another part that failed. He never called back. I was puzzled and disappointed and felt that I had bent over backwards to try to be non-judgmental. (I still am for that matter, since I graded him as N/A for price and quality of his initial repair work, since I have no idea if they were appropriate. I only gave him F's for professional issues.) We then called Brian Hoyt, who was GREAT and got the thing up & running.

It took a surprisingly long time (including another heat wave) for the replacement fan to arrive, and I had to call several times. When it did, Mr. Hewitt came when he promised, and installed the fan competently, with a minimum of fuss. He also helped keep costs down by suggesting I install the less expensive of two models. The original problem remains, however. He's promised to recommend an air-duct person to check the crawl space. I have yet to call him about this. I must add that Mr. Hewitt is straight-forward, low-keyed, and altogether reliable. He's an honest, experienced artisan, and very easy to work with.

Our home warranty was not going to cover it & he got them to cover it. It was excellent service. He was very punctual. He had to go & get a part, he was back in 20 minutes. Price was for service call, the rest was covered by the warranty.
