Evolve Bank & Trust

We have refinanced many times, and never had any issues.  This process has been unnerving almost from the beginning.  The company required lots more documentation than any other lender ever has, including redundant statements for items on tax returns or things they were given privilege to investigate on their own, they made us do their research for them and explain things like business organization, what schedules were within the tax filings and all kinds of interesting things.  Once the paperwork finally went through, the loan was serviced off to Citi Mortgage.  When we received that notice, Evolve sent another agent out to the house to resign most of the loan documents, never telling us what had changed.  We spent a bunch of time trying to find the differences, but in tons of pages, we could not find any differences, but obviously something changed or they would not have asked us to resign everything.  The loan was not correctly registered and showed the wrong payment amounts and product type on Evolve's website.  That took awhile to fix as well.  Once everything seemed to settle down and was finally corrected at Evolve, and the resigned documents went off to Citi, the loan officially serviced over to Citi Mortgage.  We have other accounts with Citi and were happy when the transfer finally occurred, hoping the craziness was done.  Once Citi had the mortgage, everything went smoothly for about 6 months, then for some undisclosed reason, Citi serviced the mortgage back to Evolve and the chaos started again.  First, Citi failed to apply a payment on the requested date before the reservicing of the loan, and that payment is in limbo as  by the time they attempted to pull the payment from our bank account, the load had reserviced and I guess everyone thought we would not miss that payment.  When the loan serviced back to Evolve, Evolve tried to pick up from when they serviced the load to Citi, ignoring the 6 months of payments to Citi.  They tried to raise the principal balance, and went right back to all the payment issues of the original note.
