Technician arrived when scheduled, did the repair, and the tenants were not inconvenienced.

The workmanship was performed very well by plumber. He was very professional.
My primary concern was that the material charge for plastic drain piping and faucet screen were $100 which was excessive.

Arrived on time. Appreciated the one hour minimum and thereafter billed in 15min increments at lower rate. Budget was within estimates (they said $150 for first hour and $120 thereafter; total costs were $180).

Installation of the toilets went OK, but the job entailed 2 toilets, which we had already bought and had on site, and the cost averaged out to over $400 per toilet for installation. There were no unusual problems, the old toilets came out easily. Unfortunately, I was not home when my wife arranged to have the toilets installed. This company goes by the "standard price" system, where they just quote a price based on the type of job. Stay away from anyone who does this, it is usually far more expensive than a plumber who estimates the job based on realistic time and materials estimates. Had them estimate the cost of moving a refrigeration hook-up, but they did not do the work. This would have entailed moving the hook-up about 18" from its original position and would have taken about 1 - 1.5 hour maximum, plus less than $25 in materials. The estimate was $465. Economy may be their name, but I think there are much cheaper folks out there.

When I called Economy Plumbing for the first - the office person was so friendly & helpful & their hourly rates so reasonable, that I right away decided to use this company. The young many they sent out arrived right on time, was intelligent & thoughtful. He gave me an estimate & completed the work on time & as promised. He left everything spotless. Very reasonable rates. Work done right on time & as promised.

I had used this company once before for the same problem and was very pleased with their service. I originally had a Friday 11-1pm appointment window which was rescheduled by the company late Thursday evening to Monday, noon to 2 pm. I had no word from the service tech by 1:30 so I called the company and was told that the tech was "running behind" on another job and that I was the next person in line. The tech arrived at 2:40 and was done with the job within 30 minutes. This company charges by the hour at $120 per hour with a 1 hour minimum vs. by the job. It's hard not to feel like you didn't get your moneys worth when they are here and gone within 30 minutes. You do, however, feel like you are getting a free service when they do additional things for you within that 1 hour.
