Bruce Miller Concrete

All you have to do is read the evaluations on Angie's list and other websites. Our experience was exactly the same. We stopped by a neighbor's front yard one day when Bruce was there working on a project similar to ours. We had him stop by and give us a quote. What we should have done was talk to the neighbor, and we would never have hired him. He had us pay him $1,000 up front for the materials, and used that money for something else. The rest of the time he was begging us for money because he either needed more material or he needed to buy his guys some dinner. He never showed up when he promised. When he did show up it was usually in the later evening. One night he was working until 10:30 pm in our backyard. When he was done for the night he knocked on the back door and asked if he could have $50 because he was broke. Even as he was putting the sealer on it was peeling. When we would point that out, he would go back over it, but that didn't help. Within one month our concrete was peeling so badly that it looked like a person's skin peeling after a horrific sunburn. We have called and emailed several times with no response. I even went so far as to go the the address that he lists as his business address. Big surprise, it was his rented house and he was gone. Bruce Miller is a dishonest man. He has recently had his license suspended because his no longer bonded. Stay away from him.

Things started out really well with Bruce, but eventually he made some serious mistakes and rather than correct them, he abandoned the project, didn't return calls and left us holding a lot of bills as well as a patio that's the wrong color. I just want to make sure that others don't hire him and get into a similar mess.
