I phoned on Friday with an emergency. Although their schedule was already filled, these guys were able to get someone out for me the very next morning. The locksmith who arrived was courteous, skilled, and knowledgeable. He rekeyed our front door lock, put in a lock on an interior door, and supplied us with four keys for each. While he was working on the front door lock, he noticed that it was a bit "sticky" -- not functioning smoothly -- so he took it completely apart and cleaned and oiled it before putting it back together. It works like a charm now. For the interior lock, he had to order a door handle to match what we had already in the house. In the meantime, he put on a temporary lock for which he did not charge us. (We swapped the temporary for the permanent on his second visit.)
What we spent on this first visit ($180) reflects the cost of a Saturday call and two additional keys, as well as the locksmith's time. I take that as money well spent. On his second visit, a week and a half later on a weekday, the charge for his labor was about $50.
