My heater quit a couple days after receiving the Angie's List periodical  which gave this local company a very high rating, so I called and spoke with the wife who got a message to Alan and he arrived a short time later.  He knew instantly what the problem was and got it running right away. The company that installed the heater had used the wrong amp fuse.   I very much appreciated this very excellent and friendly customer service.  Would definitely use them again if the need arose.

It went well and it was a good experience. They were helpful, they fixed the problem and I would use them again. They were also fair.

I used them for a rental unit, and I never met them. They did a good job at a reasonable price.

The original ductwork in this 30-year old 3-bedroom house was in sad shape when we purchaed it, with some parts disconnected or collapsed, and we needed to get the house ready for our first winter here. ARM was the first company I contacted, based on reviews found on Angie's list and on Yelp. From the first contact, the owner put us at ease and instilled confidence in his competence and professionalism. I asked for bids to repair the existing ducts as well as for replacement, and chose to replace everything with new. The proposal was nicely itemized, as requested, was on the low end of what I had expected, and no effort was ever made to sell me on the more expensive path. Everything went smoothly, work was done on schedule, and the crew were friendly and courteous as they worked like beavers, making sure this potentially very messy job was completed with no mess at all. A real plus was that while working in the crawl space, one of the men spotted a broken drain pipe and the company made repairs for a very small fee. I am a very satisfied ARM customer.

Based on a number of very positive online reviews, I contacted ARM about installation of a humidifier on our pre-existing furnace.
From the first contact, I was charmed by the owner, Alan's wife, Lydia, who takes all the calls.  She is absolutely delightful!
Alan came out to assess our set-up and provide preliminary information.  We then spoke with him over the phone several times after he did some research for us.  Our situation was a bit complicated as our furnace is in a small closet.
Alan and his employee then came out and installed our humidifier perfectly.  All went well with what appeared to be a rather labor-intensive (4 hour) process.
We are very happy with our humidifier and the service provided by ARM.  We will definitely use them again for our heating and air conditioning needs.

Mark was very generous with information, provided a timely estimate, addressed our questions about competing models of heating units, performed the work faster than he had predicted, and followed up with phone calls a week later about questions we had about our fireplace in another part of our house.  Very responsive and responsible!

Alan came in well under bid compared to the three other companies I entertained, but that's not why I selected him.  He spent a lot of time explaining options and function to me and wasn't trying to up-sell me on anything.  I did opt for some neat bells and whistles...  a zoned system in particular...  Alan and his crew are great, including Lydia in the office.  They all get along really well, are fun guys yet hard working and responsible. The job took about 4 days with a couple follow-up visits to finish up details that had to wait on other construction factors.  I highly recommend them.

Great people to work with.  Came when they said they would.  Alan had to order parts to do our repair.  They actually called us a day before he was supposed to return to complete work and installed parts.  Fan works great now, gave us advice on our HVAC system, serviced our AC unit, and adjusted vents to get air flow the best possible in our house.  ARM is a great company to work with, very personable, caring and responsive.  I would highly recommend their services to anybody looking for a courteous and qualified HVAC specialist.  If we have any further issues with our system or replace our system, I will definitely call Alan.

Alan delivered what he promised on time, and with a positive and helpful attitude. Our new furnace is so quiet that I don't even hear it come on! Our previous one sounded like a train rolling through town. He and his crew were friendly and positive, and cleaned up nicely. When I wasn't happy with the color of floor grate that I had chosen for the bathrooms, he was happy to replace with a new color. Lydia, Alan's wife, stayed in contact about the inspections and rebates, and is delightful to work with.
We will recommend ARM to friends and neighbors without reservation, and will call them again in the future.

The experience of the project was superb. We were referred to ARM by our nieghbor who said they have used them several times. The experience was great because from start to finish the communication was excellent.

We first got recommendations from our nieghbors on different HVAC companies. I was amazing to see how difficult it was to get an HVAC company to come out within 24 hours. It was in the middlle of a sweltering week and our ac was down. The two other companies I called took a full day to call back making it difficult for me to make a decision on who to choose for project. ARM was the only contractor to pick up the phone on the first call. It was a seamless experience. But I still wanted to get a couple quotes, so I waited for the other 2 contractors to call me back. After reviewing all the quotes, ARM came in the middle of the 3. Their quote was the most detailed and best value in our opinion.

It turned out to be a bad coil in our unit that needed to be replaced. It was an older unit that we were deciding to replace soon but ARM did a great job explaining the pros and cons of both. We felt no pressure from them at anytime and made our decision easy. They did some repair work and also repaired some damage to the concrete pad under the unit which we were pleased.

Overall ARM heating and cooling did a great job and were professsional in every way.

It was estimated at $550.00 but came in at less which was great.
They called me back promptly.
They provided a list of reference letters showing customer satisfaction.
They were punctual and fully informed us what they were doing underneath our house, what was the existing system and what needed to be done. Nice since I really don't want to craw under there!

And I will hire them again if I need any HVAC done.

They are excellent.  My son had a very difficult installation in his attic, and they did a fabulous job with him.  He was highly pleased with the work they did.  The work they did for me was excellent.  The owner is a pro, and he's meticulous.  They performed a beautiful installation.  I definitely felt like the price was fair.

It is a small company - it is a husband and wife team. I really like them. They are honest and really protective of their license. They conduct full inspections and follow all the rules. In terms of responsiveness, they do get a little busy. Their punctuality and professionalism are excellent. I got three bids and the only one I could afford was theirs - the others were huge. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

This company was referred to us by a friend who had used its services for a complicated heating and cooling job. Al made multiple visits to assess our situation and proposed multiple solutions, along with detailed estimates for each proposal. His visits were always scheduled by Lydia, and he was always on time. When we had chosen the service that best fit us, the work was begun on time and continued without interruption until completion. He brought an assistant, Fernando Arcila, who was clearly knowledgable and efficient. Two adjustments were necessary: The City inspector did not approve the placement of the shut-off mechanism, and Al and Fernando came immediately to make the change; after a month, we asked that the vent be placed in a different spot, and that visit was scheduled and completed promptly, as well. They made minimum mess and noise, which came as a pleasant surprise, and they were respectful of our floors and woodwork as they worked. The previous system was quite old and still in good working condition; it was not efficient, but it was silent. I was reluctant to replace it with a system that made noise. Al assured us that he would work with us until we were satisfied with the sound level.
