My HVAC contractor (Westside Heating and Air) recommended Jim to do the flashing around my new to be installed HVAC system. I think I may have used Jim to do my garage many years earlier but it has been so long I cannot be certain. Jim came to confirm the scope of work and we agreed that rather than just do the flashing that we redo the flat part of the roof. I have a flat part and a gable part. I have needed a new roof(s) for many many years so I new it made better sense to rework the flat one entirely rather than just do the new flashing that was needed because of the new HVAC unit going in. Because of the fact that I only had one layer, he was able to save me money by installing the new and quot;torchdown bitumen cap sheetand quot; type flat roof over my old one. This made the job clean and easy. He also was more than accommodating with my request to not have to do the gable yet (to save money for now) but I told him that we will have to do it in the near future. They were great at being able to make that work even though the two sections interact. All the work was done on-time and with quality and they addressed any questions/concerns that I had during the process.

After the work was done, they told me that they'd come back to check on it, but then they never did. At first, he was incredibly responsive, helpful, and solved the problem I had in a timely manner. Then I called him again for another job, and he answered my call, but so far I haven't been able to contact him.

Various family members have used Santa Monica Roofing for several years and find them to be very reliable and honest. We will use them in a house remodel this year.

They are the best roofing experience we ever had. They are very professional and the owner of the company is there supervising the job and they are very dependable and the best.
