Jay and his crew were prompt and very professional. Easy to talk to and you can tell he really cares about the work and he has great suggestions. OMG, he stopped in briefly on a holiday to wrap up! We would certainly call upon them again if needed. We had a bit of a scheduling overlap with window painting, and they were able to manage even though it was our scheduling snafu. (Painting and sanding, oops.)

I had a flood in my house and after a really bad experience with a flooring company, I hired Jay and Pacific Hardwood Flooring after reading his reviews on Angie's list and Yelp. Jay was absolutely amazing, he was prompt, responsible, proud of his work and was $4,000 less expensive than the original floor people. Jay knew I had been living in a construction zone and he was able to start work within a few days of hiring him. The original floors were so hard to pull up that it was taking longer than expected. Instead of having the project continue on longer, he put additional guys on the job for no extra charge to me and finished on time. In addition, he had conversations with my insurance company and never charged me for his time. Jay is a friendly, honest man with an eye for detail. (all the thresholds are impeccable)  I would hire him again in a heartbeat and would strongly recommend him for anyone looking for floors. My floors are stunning and Jay and his men were fantastic.

I have used many companies for my home throughout the years and this was hands down the best and most satisfying I ever experienced. The work they did is beautiful. I was impressed how professional everything looks. They went above and beyond on more than one occasion. Things came up during the job which they took care of without charging extra which are 1-4 below. 1) I noticed the job seemed slow going at first on the top level, but they were spending a lot of time there. Jay explained that the floor was very uneven and there was a lot of work to levelize it. 2) One set of stairs was creaky and moved some when people went up and down. They offered to secure the stairs to the studs in the wall and did an excellent job. No creaking and very stable now. This was a lot of work and no charge. 3) There were a lot of imperfections along the stairs when they pulled up the carpet. They offered to put something covering all that (not sure what it's called), but very glad they did. 4) They took out some wood framing against the wall. I asked for this after they had already done work at this area. They took it out and reworked the baseboard and hardwood and it looked great. It took longer than expected, but that was really because of the unforseen extra work needed. When the job was complete, he came back to make sure we were completely satisfied with everything. I highly recommend Jay and Pacific Hardwood Flooring. Jay is a pleasure to work with and always got back with me promptly. He made a good recommendation for stair railing, who we used and together the place exceeds out expectation.

I cannot speak more highly of Jay and the rest of the team at Pacific Hardwood Flooring.  Although we met with multiple companies to get bids for our hardwood floors, we decided to go with Jay because of his knowledge, honesty, and great prices.  Jay came to our house multiple times late after work to discuss the various types of wood flooring.  We ultimately selected engineered hardwoods.  As soon as we signed our contract, Jay's crew worked tirelessly to demo the old flooring, fix creaks, and prepare the sub flooring.   The crew was extremely politie and always cleaned up at the end of the day.  Our floors look amazing and have tranformed our house.  If you are thinking about installing hardwoods, you definitely should give Jay a call.
