Jon met a few of his subs at my property and gave them copies of my plans for bidding. He spent a few hours on the project, not much. A month into the process, Jon sent me an invoice for 25+ hours of work, which was impossible, and a bill of over $2000. When I called him about the ridiculous bill, I said it was his secretary's fault and he lowered it to $1700, still too high I thought. A week after we speak, he starts calling and emailing me demanding payment. I felt like I was being chased by the mob so I paid him. Then week after week passes by with no sign of a budget. When I called him, he rarely called me back and when he did he would lie to me. Well four months pass before I received my budget and when I did, it was junk, clearly quickly thrown together and worthless to me. Jon lied to me several times and I was extremely disappointed. I feel fortunate that I didn't get in deeper with Jon and that I found out what type of person he was before the project started.
