"I did take the time to explain the new furnace had an additional exhaust motor compared to the old furnace that was gravity vented. All new furnaces today have the same type of exhaust for the venting, and produce a little more sound. Unfortunately the furnace is located in a closet directly off the end of the hallway exposing the sound to the entire open area. Unfortunately there is no way to relocate the furnace in an attic. I did recommend adding a soundboard to the door to help baffle the sound. We did respond in a timely manner and performed a thorough and professional installation, and was disappointed to see that we were only awarded a"
