GLOBAL INNOVATION DEVELOPMENT INC

We bought our home in August 2008, and we were given several recommendations from the real estate agent for various contractors to perform the remodeling work that we wanted done. We met with three of the suggested contractors, but we were given the "run-around" by every one of them (always excuses about why they didn't show up, or why their written quotes were higher than their verbal promises). We finally got fed up, and we asked a close friend for a referral, and she told us about Brian at Global Innovation. We called him and he was so pleasant on the phone. He was really focused on OUR needs and seemed genuinely interested in making US happy. He came to our house the very next day to inspect the work, and we immediately realized that he was so knowledgeable and "in-control" of the situation. Brian offered us so many creative and interesting ideas (things we had never even considered) during his first visit that my wife and I were truly excited about the project for the first time since we had bought the house - I remember we stayed up that night talking about how much fun it was going to be to see our dreams become a reality, particularly since we had a new baby. Brian followed up with us several times during the next couple of days, asking questions that we had never considered, and giving us further feedback that made us realize that he was really determined to surpass our expectations. The day before his quote was due, I remember telling my wife that this must be too good to be true, and that his written quote would certainly be higher than we expected, or would contain some surprises. WELL, WERE WE EVER SURPRISED!!!!! The first surprise was that Brian submitted his quote THAT day - EARLIER than he had promised (that was a surprise that happened over and over throughout the process - completing the work EARLIER than expected at every stage!). The next surprise was the incredible low price - the other quotes we received were between $95k-$150k for the work, BUT, Global came in at only $82k. Our next surprise was that they actually completed the work for only $77k, and rather than keep the extra for himself, Brian showed us his books (what he calls his "famous open book policy") and gave us a rebate of $5,000 (we ended up giving him $1,000 back as a bonus because we just could not believe his honesty). Our next surprise was the incredible quality and craftsmanship of the work - our house is now everything that we ever dreamed. Every detail was considered and attended to, even a few small things that we were willing to accept were not acceptable to Brian. He wanted our house to be perfect - and now it is! We are so happy to live here, and raise our son here. We never want to leave. And we owe so much of it Global Innovation and Brian Linnekens. THANKS A MILLION!!!!
