Crystal Reed - College Counselor

Crystal was able to extract information from my children that no inquires, begging, bribing gave me. We were then able to adjust our educational course, while simultaneously advancing the boys' desires. We have an actionable plan. Crystal is the best, plain and simple.

Crystal got my transcript from my high school painlessly, which is something I had been concerned about due to the highly political environment there. She assisted me in requesting a transfer of units from my previous college, and offered me invaluable guidance regarding my written submissions and essays.

Crystal's college counseling was invaluable. She helped my daughter through every aspect of the "college process." My daughter gained a new level of self-confidence by correctly and successfully completing and submitting college applications and essays, enjoying the college interviews she attended, and finally deciding which college to attend. My daughter felt Crystal prepared her for college. Crystal's guidance and expertise created a positive future for my daughter.

Crystal was my son's college counselor at The Westview School. She was knowledgeable, supportive, encouraging. She took the time to get to know my son; she understood his learning issues. She guided him to pursue his passion of music and now I am the proud mom of a graduate of The Musicians Institute!

Fantastic. As stated above, both of my sons were accepted into their first choice for university. Crystal spent time getting to know each of my sons, their likes, dislikes, ideas for careers and possible majors. She created lists of potential colleges/universities for each to review and she then helped them navigate through the selection process by providing her insight into the schools they were interested in considering. She assisted them with their actual applications, essays and follow-up. She was always on time for meetings, stayed as long as the boys needed, answered all questions to the best of her ability and if she did not have an answer, researched it and got back to them. She was extremely nurturing and supportive. Crystal really "gets" kids!
