furniture repair
 + -1 moreHe came to our house in July and gave us an estimate. He told us what he would do, how long it would take and how much it would cost. He left us a written detailed estimate. We contacted him 2 weeks later and said we were ready for him to perform the repairs. He came within a few days and picked up the bookcase. The original date due was to be within about four months. He returned the bookcase in November. We are very pleased with this work.
Description of Work: We had an antique Barrister bookcase we needed to be restored. The bookcase was over one hundred years old and was darkened with age and use and needed some repairs. He restored the bookcase to its original color, repaired the glass and handles on some of the doors and the applied a finishing shellac.. He made sure to also keep the original labels .
