We went through an ugly and difficult eviction process to remove a long term tenant that had been difficult for many years. We needed an honest and thorough estimate of necessary repairs to justify our retention of their security deposit. There was a great deal of damage to the property, including landscaping, etc. We contacted others for full or partial estimates. Our experience with windows-only contractors was that they were essentially sales people pushing to replace window products at a very large mark up. (We knew the pricing of the windows from our own experience elsewhere). Most other contractors simply failed to provide written estimates despite our offer to pay for their estimates.
Alfonso was the shining exception in our experience. He showed up on time, was thorough in his inspection, and willing to provide estimates across a broad range of work. From our experience elsewhere we found that his estimates were very affordable and in line with what we would have expected in a best case scenario. His estimates to replace windows were affordable and far less than the inflated estimates we had repeatedly received from windows-only sales people. He carefully researched his materials costs (doors, windows, landscaping materials, etc.) and provided us with the estimate in a timely fashion. We were pleased to pay him the reasonable estimate fee that he had quoted us prior to making the estimate.
We would have no hesitation in using his services in the future or in recommending him to others.

They had to come back about two or three times to do it because it wasn't cut properly or they had missed something. They didn't do it right away but they finished it. They do very good work by the time they complete the job. The first gate that they did was no problem. But the second gate was a problem. Their price was definitely good.

Very much appreciative of him coming same day despite not being close to where I live. So arrived at four and left at 7 pm. Didn't rush job in spite of it being late in the day. Cleaned up everything as well. Very professional and personable. Recommend him highly and I would have no qualms about calling him again for additional projects. Would prefer it not being as a result of fire in a neighboring unit.

He is fair and reasonable. He did good work. He is a good work and does quality work.

Alfonso is quite receptive and detailed. Explains everything and is quite reasonably priced. He goes above and beyond. He is good with the dogs. Not only would I use him again, but I have already asked him to redo my floors.

He is very reasonable, friendly, and professional. He has come out numerous times. I’ll be using him again.

Overall the project went very smoothly and I am very happy with the results.

I called another company that was highly rated on Angie's List, and Alfonso called me back saying that the company used him when they were too busy. We needed to add some height to our backyard fence to keep our pets in, but didn't want to spend a lot of money. I explained this to Alfsonso over the phone and asked if he could come out to do an estimate. He told me that he normally does not do estimates (he is a one-man operation and charges by the hour), but he agreed to come out and give me a rough estimate. He got stuck in traffic on the way to the house, but called to let me know. When he arrived, he looked at our yard, and spoke with us about what he were looking to do. We told him our thoughts, and he gave us his suggestions. When we agreed on the plan, he said he could go to the hardware store right then and price the materials and give me an estimate. He did just that. He came back and showed us photos of the options available and the price of each one. He gave us an estimate for the materials and labor, and he went to work right away. We had a couple of things change along the way, and he kept us informed and stuck to within $10 of his estimate. The work was done well and on time. We will defintely use him again!
