Description of Work: I called Bill to get a quote on hardwood floor installation project. He was extremely nice and easy to chat with. he advised that he would simply refer me over to the flooring contractor he uses on jobs and not have to have him be the middle-man as general contractor. Bill went out of his way to help me on a job that he would not be doing due to the small size of the project. Fantastic to get this level of service and courtesy.

Description of Work: We remodeled the top floor of our condo. It was an old out of date 1970s building with 3 small bedrooms and 2 old bathrooms. it was ripped back to the studs and Bill created a very large master bedroom, a large bathroom including a steam shower and a jacuzzi, a beautiful den and a loft.

Description of Work: We have converted a small den into a room with a door to the garden, remodeled a master bathroom and are currently making plans to redo the kitchen.

Description of Work: Complete renovation of a 3,000 plus sq/foot mid-century home - including the construction of a 650 sq/foot recording studio in what was the 3 car garage. Work began June 2010 and was completed by the following March. Construction was a complete gut - kitchen, bathrooms, structural changes, new floors, new ceilings, new everything.

Description of Work: I almost don't want to write a review because I'm afraid that Bill will get so busy that he won't be available for us in the future! But it's only fair, I guess. :) Bill Jordan is a rarity in the contractor world and anyone would be LUCKY to work with him. We decided to add a bedroom and sunroom to our Santa Monica craftsman home and Bill meticulously built our addition as if it was his own home. The amount of detail, care and skill involved was beyond anything we expected. There was unbelievably detailed carpentry work both inside and out, custom windows and doors, multiple intricate and interwoven rooflines, all created to match the existing house. He built the addition so meticulously that it looks like part of the original house. He went above and beyond the call of duty on a daily basis and it shows in his work. He also remodeled our kitchen pretty extensively while we were waiting on permits for the addition and it came out absolutely gorgeous. Again, he treats your house like it is his own and no detail goes unnoticed. The subcontractors he uses have been his colleagues for years and they are not only loyal to him (read: available at a moment's notice) but are held up to the same exacting standards to which he holds himself. Our house was great, now it is amazing.

Description of Work: We ripped out a bathroom from the 30's, knocked out a few walls and updated plumbing and electrical. Demolition, plumbing, electrical, and tile work was all completed on time, on budget, and with a smile. Since that job (in 2003) we have done general remodel of a bedroom to a gym, and had Bill build several amendments to the garden. He is just bidding on our kitchen remodel, which will include moving windows and redoing cabinets, and we have confidence he will accomplish that job in the timely, quality manner he did the bathroom and other jobs.
