24 Hour Fitness

I love the 24 Hour Fitness in general, but I am not a big fan of the one in Santa Monica. It is dirty, broken down, and the problem is that it is just too busy. You always have to wait. It was a regular 24 hour fitness sport and then they closed down for a month and made it a super sport so all of a sudden I have to pay $20 extra a month. Besides getting out towels, I did not see any improvement at all. The parking area is terrible. I travel and I go to the one in Denver a lot, and it is more like those beautiful gyms that I have ever been to.

The facility is much better since the remodel. I have a membership that allows me to visit any 24 Hr Fitness and since this is close to work, it is nice to go there before or very late in the evening.
It is definitely better after the remodel - cleaner and better.
Just like many gyms, it is really busy right after work so working later gives me the chance to let the crowds dissipate
I am going to purchasing the 2 year from Costco soon so I need to see if I can keep this location, Either way, they have been around for awhile and I like this chain

It has been completely remodeled and it is very clean now. The machines are good and the pool looks good. They have fingerprint ID check-in, which is very convenient. There is a little keypad where I put in my phone number and I stick my finger on a little pad, and it turns green and that it is it. It is awesome. It is very fast and easy. They have free parking. It is worth going there. It is worth joining.

It's a relatively new building and a new center. It's very nice and I like it. Sometimes when they are going to close a particular part of their facility for a repair or something, they don't have an e-mail list where they just blast everybody and tell you that it's closed. You will drive over there and discover that it's not open, which is really annoying. So, that has been my only complaint about them. I think they need to solve that problem. So, they need to e-mail everybody and let them know what's going on. Other than that, I have been very happy with them. It's a great center and the staff is nice. It's very clean and everything seems to be up-to-date. I use their pool everyday. In fact, I just came from there. It's a nice pool and it's kept very well. I haven't had to pay for their services since I have a membership provided by my health insurance company. So, I don't know what the price is. I would definitely use their services in the future too.
