They were amazingly efficient, very thorough and by far the best cleaners we have had in this area (we have had regular house cleaners that just couldn't compare). Not the cheapest, but worth the money. They were able to get us in the day after I called when a contractor's catastrophe left construction dust coating every surface days before our move-in date. And they cleaned our lived-in-with-two-small-kids-for-seven-years house until is sparkled. Well done, Maids!

The only reason I give this service provider a B is because, due to a language related miscommunication,  a terrible misunderatanding occured.   B is because we were not given a chance to explain and resolve the situation. So after a long and happy relationship, we lost our cleaning service and we would like to have them back.
They deserve and A  and I do recommend The Maids.  They send a crew of 3 or 4 employees so they are in and out in about 1 and 1/2 hours. Each person on the team specializes in the area that they clean.  They work had and are very thorough. If anything is missed, they are fine with us pointing it out and the problem is immediately corrected to our satisfaction. 
Overall they do provide quality service at a somewhat reasonable cost.

My problem is with management, not the cleaning staff (they
were excellent). I scheduled this appt well in advance because I do not
live on this property and had an hour commute. I need to staff to be a
tight schedule, explained that to the scheduler TWICE in detail, even
the day before the appt. The staff arrived 45 minutes late and then also
took a lunch break (which they had been asked to do before arriving). I
had other contractors scheduled as well and it was an absolute mess
trying to work around the cleaning staff since they arrived so late.
Needless to say, all the work didn't get finished as I had to leave at a
set time.  Based on this and how I explained my needs to the schedule
in detail and she seemed to understand, I would not use them again.

Ok, I admit, I 'm a knucklehead. Other cleaning services actually laughed when I called 2 weeks before Thanksgiving for service. I was close to tears. 
Lisa was so gregarious and fun she actually made ME laugh. She cared enough to juggle her cleaner's schedules and make a spot for me, a first time client, a few days before Thanksgiving!  This kind of service is unheard of, people!  
The cleaners were lovely, all very experienced and worked hard and well together. They cleaned places I never expected them to, and made sure they were getting all corners and crevices throughout our home. We have high ceilings that have moldings and trimmings full of dust and they were able to clean them with ladders and dusters. I just stood there with my mouth open. Everything was spotless.
I am so grateful they were able to come on such short notice and were such a nice cleaning crew.
There is something to be said about the security of having a bonded and insured company in your home. In the past we had a single person clean our home. We didn't check to find she wasn't bonded and had no insurance.  We ended up with a big financial nightmare. 
I almost didn't call The Maids of Grover Beach, thinking they would say we were too far away. (Morro Bay). Turns out they clean many homes in this area. Please be aware they have a wide service area, and don't be afraid to call.  You'll be glad you did. 
But whatever they are paying Lisa, it isn't enough.

This company is fabulous. I first spoke to Lisa, Operations Manager. She explained everything that would be done during a "move-in cleaning" - prices, etc. and how long she thought the services would take.
The people she sent were courteous, respectful, and competent. Our new house is now ready to move into. These services were a huge help to us.

I've been using The Maids for over a year now.  They are fantastic.  I called The Maids after letting the housekeeper go whom I had used for several years.  Her work was getting sloppy and she was omitting things each week and she didn't appreciate me calling it to her attention. 

I couldn't believe it the first time The Maids came.  They even carry step ladders with them so they can reach the high places.  They even emptied the shredder in the office, which I didn't expect since it had not been done before.  And they cleaned things like the fireplace glass and so many other things that would take too long to mention.

I have never been disappointed when they come and they're only a little more than what I was paying before.  It's certainly worth it!
