What a great experience we had with So-Cal Superior Builders. We recently bought a home in AG. There were a few projects that needed to be done before we moved in. We searched Angie's List for contractor references and called three or four. Juan was the first to show up - on time and immediately started taking notes as to my needs. Some of the other contractors had excuses as to why they couldn't meet with me or flat said they were too busy to provide an estimate. Juan's estimate was reasonable, but more than that, he was very easy to communicate with. Most importantly, Juan was here when he said he would be and completed the work in the time frame I needed. The detail to quality is very evident in Juan's work and he wasn't afraid to offer suggestions that would improve the finished product. Polite, respectful, punctual, good work ethic and high-quality workmanship are all terms I would use to describe Juan and So-Cal Superior Builders.

Well as a surprise for my husband I entrusted Juan and his crew to work on our backyard while we were away. With some texts and a few calls my husband and I could not have been more surprised than we when arrived home! Juan and his guys are just incredible. Picture overgrown weeds (as in face height at 5'5"), dead grass, old pavers, sketchy concrete work and half a deck that was installed too high. Oh and lets not forget the land of the forgotten toys! Juan and his guys yanked everything down to the dirt. They had to pull out the deck and dig deeper to drop it at least 4 inches, then reinstalled as if it had been that way the whole time! They ran brand new irrigation thru the front and back yards. We had them install new sod. Also they poured, colored and stamped the concrete. And even surprised me with newly painted fence. They custom built the pergola over our decking to shade the sun from our master room. Oh and they took out the worn existing slider doors and put in brand new french doors in both the master bedroom and family room to access our beautiful new backyard. Not bad for a track house, turned into our custom home. Oh and did I mention he did this all in 11 days?! Juan was fantastic the whole process. We've called on him to do other minor projects in the house from a leaking water heater, to tile and sink in the bathroom. He has fantastic communication, always shows up when he says and never lets me down. He knows when and how to give ideas that keeps things logical and within budget. The crew is clean, respectful, appreciative and very very hard workers. I look forward to calling on them for future projects. Thanks So Cal!

In all of my years renovating homes, this is been (by far) the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. Not only did the crew show up when they said they would, they cleaned up at the end of the day and left things spotless!
The quality of work was excellent and we have ended up with a gorgeous shower. The fellows were all polite, pleasant and other than stopping for a short lunch, wouldn't even take time for an afternoon break. The entire project took just a little over a week which is nothing short of a miracle in my book. Most contractors pull their men off of the job to do another job and show up every other day if you are lucky.
Juan Cabrera knows how to get things done and is smart enough to hire the right people to work for him. He makes sure that you are entirely happy with the job before they leave. An extremely professional guy who keeps his word and is more than fair in pricing a job.
Do yourself a favor and hire this guy.
