Curt's Plumbing & Heating Repair

First, I will say that Curts was very responsive to my service call and arrived exactly when they said they would. Beyond that, my experience has not been good. The first plumber they sent out to change out a kitchen faucet was a very pleasant, friendly guy who assured me that he could handle the job and even offered to do some research on an additional part that he thought I would need. He also notified me that there were no angle stops installed for the faucet and he recommended that I have them installed. I agreed. He completed the faucet installation quickly but soon after he left I discovered that the faucet was leaking around the spout. I called him to inform him of the leak and he came back the next day and tightened the fixture and stopped the leak. The next day I noticed that the faucet handles were very loose and one came off in my hand. The leak had returned but much smaller than before and there were a lot of scratches on the faucet from where the plumber had tightened the fixture. When I called Curts to arrange for the installation of the angle stops, I asked that they send another plumber because I was not pleased with the quality of the work of the first guy and informed them of the continuing problems with the faucet installation. They sent someone very quickly named John and he arrived on time. I showed him the leak on the faucet and the loose handles and he told me that it was because of hard water building up around the connection. He also said that he could not install angle stops under the sink because it would require tearing the outside wall out because it was an old house with a wall-mount faucet and that's the way they were constructed. When I informed him that it was brand new construction and the faucet was also new so it could not have hard water build up in just three days, he said, "well tell your builder to get a carpenter because I can't do that kind of work." He made no attempt to address the loose faucet handles or correct the leak, he just said "have a good day" and left. He was here all of about five minutes. Maybe he was having a bad day but I wouldn't hire Curts Plumbing again for any reason.

These guys are the real deal. They came out on a Saturday-and fixed a supply line leak that was leaking for a few hours and had caused water issue in living room .  We heard they were good from folks in SLO-and they were 100 % correct. If you got plumbing issues in Santa Maria or Nipomo-call them . They are fair in pricing and deliver good value every day.

They did a good job. They knew what they were doing. They came in and took care of everything. They were reliable and came when they said they would.

Curt's Plumbing and Heating Repair has a positive attitude, they were quick, and it was an overall enjoyable experience. i will be using them again in the future.
