"Sparkle Water Management Inc. acknowledges some shortcomings in some our service personnel at the time when we were servicing (Member name removed) pool. However those service personnell are not with our company anymore. We serviced the pool slightly over 3 years, starting with the newly remodeled pool. I can't speak to the browing spots as I don't recall the circumstances around them or the water chemistry readings at the time. I doubt they were a result of water chemistry and were more unique to a plaster's curing process since it was new. There may have been some means of treating the spots using stain treatments but those are at the customer's request. Having terminated her service with us over three years ago, I can' recall the circumstances with the algae. There may have been periods of algae blooms that usually occur in spring and fall. If they were not treated appropriately, that is our responsibility. Chad Van Essen, Certified Pool Operator Service Manager Sparkle Water Management, Inc."
"This client (renter) indeed has not been happy with the service we were providing at the the home she leases. We have been providing chemical service at this pool for over 23 years for the owner/landlord, who recently requested that we increase the amount of service we perform on the pool (to full service) as he made the home a rental. The management of Sparkle Water Management was never contacted by the tenant to inform us of her dissatsifaction with the service, however she did make some comments to our service technician about the quality of the cleaning--upon which he increased the efforts to make her satisfied. Only hearing of her dissatsifaction over Angie's list, as the service manager I immediately addressed her dissatisfaction by calling her (upon which there was no returned call) and then ultimately going and hoping to meet her at the property to discuss service. She had already made up her mind to change service by the time I could address the issues. In my opinion, we were not given a fair chance as the management to correct and understand what it is that she wants done better. She thought the pool was never clean enough after service, but our service tech said it looked spotless after the recent service (July 13th & 20th) which were after her initial complaints to our service tech. When she says that the service tech only spends 5 minutes there, that actually is not the case. Our records show that our service tech would spend a minimum of 15 minutes each week (as it is a small pool) at the property servicing the pool chemically and cleaning the pool. The pool has been properly maintained to industry standards and I believe we were not given sufficient chance to understand and address her complaints before she made comments and cancelled service.
