Beard Electric

Beard was recommended to me by Bosch Electric. Brett Beard, one of the owners of this family business came out and did the site survey at no charge. He was right on time for the appointment. Aside from the survey, he provided me with a copy of the form I could use to claim a 30% tax credit on my federal filing. He also told me he would take care of the necessary permits. I approved the estimate, and Bosch shipped the charger I purchased from them directly to Beard. Bryan came out this morning arriving at the 8am appointment on time and did the complete installation, which entailed running wiring and conduit from our breaker panel to inside my garage, installing a 240volt breaker as well as the charging unit itself. He was very meticulous in measuring and installing the conduit and the unit so that it visually looks correct. The unit worked the first time we plugged it into the car. Bryan was very helpful -- answering any and all my questions. He tells me that they will be sending me the inspection tag and will be setting up the appointment with the city inspector for me. Once that is complete, I will be able to submit the necessary paperwork to the DWP to qualify for my $750 rebate on the cost of the charger (not included in Beard's fees). They were very professional and I will not hesitate to use them for any electrical work in the future. Highly recommended!
