First the gravel was trucked in and brought in by wheel barrow. A 2 man team placed all the gravel, the drain system and the re-bar. The drip system was then installed, the drainage connected and cemented into place to ensure it would not shift during the pour.
Mike packed all the gravel by hand with compactors. Pour day - moves fast. 4 man team worked quickly to pump in the concrete, finish and trowel the surface 2-3 times, then just at the right time to stamp the concrete.
The following day Mike came back and sprayed the area to check the water drainage and fall - perfect. No ponding any where. Perfect.
This is a very professional and efficient company. He does all kinds of concrete work including multiple colors, stamping, sealing, large commercial jobs and small residential jobs. My job turned out perfect. I highly recommend Mike Burns Concrete if you are considering concrete work.
