Jody was great to work with. She listened to our requirements and suggestions, but then added her own touches to the design. We ended up with a large sheet of paper with the drawn design on it, plus a long list of plants that took into account our desire to have low-water usage. She spent about three hours on the design and we got the end product that same day.
We worked directly from Jody's design to create our new backyard over the next year. It turned out absolutely amazing. We ended up modifying a few things, but overall stuck with the design that she gave us. We hired a contractor to do stamped concrete, but my wife and I did everything else on our own. We did have trouble in one area that ended up having shade way more than we or Jody suspected. So we are still trying to figure out what plants to put there. But that is less than 5% of the overall space and hardly noticeable.
Overall, we highly recommend Jody and the money spent on a good design was well worth it.
