Exterior Painting
Lied about being licensed and bonded (to his employees as well as to me--license expired in 2008). Lied about being lead certified. Lied about amount he was paying employees and hours worked (I made the mistake of paying on an hourly basis vs bid). Quality of work was very uneven.
Was very personable, an excellent 'con man'. Had several undated excellent letters of reference, only some of which gave phone numbers. I called those people and they did have good things to say.
