Not only did David do a great job, he is a great person. He did a beautiful job on my deck. He is very reliable, pleasant and easy to work with. He is always willing to help and has great suggestions.

David and his team came to see investigate the damage before the water removal people were finished. David worked with the water removal people to make sure the removal was done correctly, thoroughly, and without any further damage to our home. Once the place was dry, David investigated thoroughly to find the extent of the mold damage. (It's good that he did, or someone would evenutally have been injured.)
Once they started on the repairs, the work went smoothly and I was kept informed of each stage of the work. The guys went back and forth between working on the inside and working outside. This was based on weather...we were constantly worried it was going to start raining so the guys had to make sure all the outside work was done to protect the place from rain, but not to paint until they were sure it would dry before the rain came. They rebuilt the kitchen walls, re installed the cabinetry, painted and restored the room to better-than-before condition. They rebuilt the bathroom shower and tiled it (it's gorgeous!). And the siding outside is redone and looks great.
David and his team even found and repaired some damage that the water removal team did while they were working.
These guys are dependable, good at what they do, fairly priced, flexible, trustworthy individuals with a great sense of what it takes to repair something safely and not drain your wallet.

The hardwood floor installation was a disaster and I ended-up firing them from the job. The work was subbed-out to an unlicensed flooring contractor who left 1/4 inch gaps between the flooring pieces and didn't properly install the moisture barrier underneath the flooring. They also left nails sticking out of the finished floor. The whole job looks sloppy and ugly. I had to hire another flooring company to do some repairs to make the initial installation more bearable on the eyes. I paid a Airel Construction a premium price expecting to get quality work and ended up with an expensive eye-sore (paid $6.50/sq. ft even though going rate is more like $4-$5/sq. ft.) As a note, I initially contracted him to install a retaining wall and slab; essentially, the worker he hired to do the work ended-up managing that project and I had to be there every step of the way giving detailed instructions telling them what to do to ensure that the work was structurally sound.
