It went great I am very happy with the work and it was easy to get a hold of someone it I had a question.  There were no surprises. We knew ahead of time who was coming and when they would be hear and how long.  Everything was clean up before they left for the day.  I diffently recommend them.  The best thing is if i have any question I only need to call 1 person:)))

LE SIGH. After years of fighting off rude, lying and high pressure solar companies, I thought we had found the exception. After going to our accountant yesterday, such is not the case. Peterson Dean is no different than all of the other companies out there. We were told we would be receiving a 30% incentive (i.e., a rebate back to us) off of the purchase price..a selling point was the idea of pulling a low interest loan with a credit union PD works with, financing for X number of years initially, but using the federal rebate to buy down the loan after the first tax year and shortening the length of the loan by many years. Such is not EXACTLY the case. This rebate or incentive is all dependent on many factors a licensed account needs to explain. So, YES, we are getting our federal rebate...spread over the next 4 or so years. NO ONE ever mentioned this part. I was floored to have this explained to me yesterday by our accountant. I contacted our original Peterson Dean salesman and he is FULLY aware this is the case, as everyone's tax status is different. He does not see the need to inform buyers of this possible delay in receiving the full 30% in a "lump sum". After months and months of delays, attributed to "growing pains", we finally got our system installed in mid September. It was then 3 months or waiting for SCE to give permission to turn the system on. I have no idea about that delay, but no one seemed to know what was going on. Communication is horrible within the company, one hand really does not know what the other is doing. The equipment is fine, the installation was fine. Bottom line is Peterson Dean is just another company...there is nothing special or better about them. They don't lie, but they also don't tell the full truth.

Everything went as planned. We got the estimate which was very concise. We were contacted and set up the appointment. The crew showed up on time and completed the work in a total of 2 weeks including permitting and gutters. Gutter contractor's machine broke down on the first day of his work and he wasn't back to finish until the end of the second week. Still, very satisfied with the work.

Excellent. The whole team is extremely professional and well worth working with. Their Pricing is better than competitive and for American Products as well! When you have a question, they are very responsive.

The whole process was outstanding. They were very thorough and quick with the whole process. Very friendly and their prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend them to every and anyone I know.

Very good experience all the way around. I had a bad experience with another vendor trying to get a system defined, and Petersen Dean did a great job from beginning to end. Their salesman did a great job - no hard sell, he listened to what I wanted out of the system (buy, not lease, etc.). The fellow who measured the roof and utility area did a great job, took his time (there was a lot more to measure than I would have imagined). The engineering department was on the ball producing drawings for the homeowners association and the city permitting requirements. The biggest delay I had was with my homeowners association - but the very day I got approval from them, Petersen Dean went and pulled the building permits! Installation of the system took one day, with minor follow-up (basically just installing all the required labeling) two days later, coinciding with the city inspection. All the way along the front office folks kept up with things, were on the ball all the way, and assisted us with their 12-months no-interest financing option. We had an issue with the utility getting things approved on their end (NOT anything to do with Petersen Dean), but since the turn-on, the system is working great. I had anticipated saving about 60-70% of my bill, but it is possible at this rate I might be saving 90% or even more. My pay-back period was originally estimated as about 4 years or so, now I think it will be more like 3 years. I should add that the installation crew brought a number of tiles with them to replace any they broke during installation, and the roof was left in great condition when they were done.

They met all my expectations. Job was a complete turn-key operation. They made all arrangements with the city inspectors, electric company and I did not have to do anything. All work completed in efficient and timely manner and system working as planned.
