My Modern Floors

From the moment we walked into My Modern Floors showroom, we were greeted by Nick.  He gave us a wealth of information and based on what we were looking for in a laminate floor, we found something we liked.  Nick came to the house to take measurements, survey the area, and give us a price.  The price was extremely reasonable; especially since he had to remove tile and then prep the floor to lay the laminate.
We paid for half when we made the agreement, then the other half once the job was completed.
The day before, Nick called to confirm and also to let us know what time the crew would arrive to do the work.  They arrived promptly at 8:30am.  They looked at the area of installation, put up plastic in entryways to keep the dust within a confined area, and then began the work of tile removal.  One man worked on the tile removal, two worked on debris removal, another worked on smoothing the surface for the laminate.  The area was then vacuumed and they began to lay the padding and flooring.  The work was completed by noon and the areas surrounding the work were vacuumed (inside and outside) and left clean; they were gone by 1:00 pm.
The work was outstanding, the floor lain was perfect.

We hired them to redo our wood floors, when we went to the house after they were done there was floor stain all over, they didn't tape up anything so the baseboards are covered in stain, there is stain on the walls, on the sliding glass door, the cabinets, on the dishwasher, and the fireplace! Also the floors are not the color we asked for! They are way lighter and golden, when we wanted a chocolate brown to match the floor that were already in the house. I have spent 2 days trying to get them to fix it and make they floors the right color. The owner Nick is very rude even yelled at me on the phone. I was told that there is nothing they can do, that they already did the job and that if we want it fixed we have to pay again! I also have pictures of everything!
