LA PETITE ACADEMY

Out of all the daycares we visited in Santa Clarita, this was the biggest disappointment. After reading the reviews online and holdings such a prestigious name we expected this plce to be great. Big mistake! The assistant direct was so disorganized and unprofessional. The classroom and bathrooms where filthy. The clasroom also has a door to the kitchen tthatwas wide open while the kids played in the clasroom, talk about dangerous. Plus it was full of carts with dirty dishes. We talked to the "teacher" and asked her what the daily schedule was like. They have so many kids she splits them into groups and does activities for each group at a time, that is if the child wants to participate. Talk about lack of stucture!

We checked out several preschools in Santa Clarita, La Petite is by far the most flexible and welcoming. The tuition is reasonable and their willingness to take children any two days per week, with the flexibility to change those days, as needed, is amazing (actually, unheard of!) The teachers, director (Melanie) and assistant director (Crystal) are very helpful. The school is clean, safe and has lots of toys/supplies to encourage learning. The playground is fun, perfect for the little ones. I highly recommend La Petite Academy on Seco Canyon.
