We bought a new flat screen TV and decided to have it installed above the fireplace. We didn't want wires to show and advised the sales person about this. The installer was prompt as promised and very pleasant. When the installer surveyed the location above the fireplace he advised us that because our windows were next to the fireplace he would be unable to run the wires through the wall. He advised us that we could hire an electrician to install an outlet box behind the TV. He went ahead and installed the TV including a sound bar and bluray player with the wires running down along the side of the fireplace to the outlet and extension cord. When he finished he cleaned the area and removed the small boxes.

We discovered afterwards that the TV stands, which we wanted to hold onto, were taken along with the boxes.

Everything went well.  Purchase was easy. Staff at Best Buy set up appointment with requested Geek Squad Tech, Giang " Jaylee" Ta. He arrived on time, as scheduled. Tech set up new computer and apps as requested and was out in less than two hours.

Although the agent was running late and there was a mix up on my phone number he was unable to call and let me know. When he did arrive he was very good at doing the set up and explaining how everything worked. I thought he went the extra mile in addressing all my questions and concerns. I will use them again when needed.

The Technician was very knowledgeable.  He did a great job.  I would recommend the Greek Squad from Best Buys Costa Mesa Store.

Excellent. David Arce was very accomodating & very very knowledgeable. He did an excellent job and his 2nd man was right there & knoew what to do. They were neat & there was no mess. We never used Good Guys before but will from now on.

David from the Geek Squad was thorough and professional. He made sure the Nest was connected correctly and operating as designed, prior to him leaving my home. In addition, prior to his visit he called to make sure we knew the approximate time of his arrival (between one and two) and he has very knowledgeable and courteous. He worked well with the Nest Thermostat customer service person.

My only issue with this whole process, was getting the appointment set-up. I spent 45 minutes by phone with the Geek Squad CS and was told since the Nest wasn't classified as one of their standard installs they didn't know who to assigned my job to, and recommended that I go to the in store Geek Squad, at my local Best Buy. I did and even that with the assistance of the in store Geek Squad staff took another 1 1/2 -2 hours. Finally, a in store person, I think her name was Jazmin, contacted the help desk for Best Buy staff and they were able to o get me a booked appointment. I shared all of this to say please place the Nest Thermostat in the appropriate category, even if it's in a category all it's own, because that will save your customers alot of time and frustration. It's techincal because it connects to your wifi, computer and phone app.

The guys got here on time, no hassle with taking out old TV, waiting for me to dust the area before installation.  They set up cable, tivo, discussed the ins and outs of dropping cable (which I plan to do), also programmed my smart TV with all my services (HBO, Netflix, Amazon).  They also set up my speakers and an add on that provides music streaming from my smart phone.  That was a bit tricky but they got to the bottom of it in a few minutes (whereas it woudl have taken me hours to do the same thing, I'm sure).  They also programmed my universal remote and we went over it again and again till I got it down.  They spent about 3 hours at my house.  they were AWESOME!  Well worth the installation fee.

The BEST SERVICE Ever!

They had to mount the 65" TV on the wall by mounting the bracket to hold the TV.  Then we didn't want the wires or cables showing down the outside wall to the outlet.  They had to find studs in-between the walls with no fire blocks and drilled a hole into the wall behind the TV and another hole at the base of the wall near the outlet.  They put hole utility covers over the holes and pulled the wires through them, inside the wall and out to the plug outlet at the bottom.  (Not sure this is explained the right way...)  but it was an amazing job - so clean, no mess and they cleaned up everything.  Then the TV was mounted and cords plugged in and it was turned on to do all the settings which they went over for us.  They explained every thing to us and made sure we could work all the Home systems.  
We had such a wonderful experience with the whole installation.  We have never seen three guys work so well together and went over everything they were going to do and did a very good job trouble shooting - and strategize to come up with a solution.
We highly recommend the GeekSquad for all your electronic needs.  They know their stuff!!!

Showed up on time, assembled furniture in good time, installed television and sound bar, hooked up cable box but were unable to connect Smart TV to internet or get cable box to work due to faulty lines and cable box.  Not their fault and they tried for over 2 hours.  Once cable connections are upgraded will come back to finish hooking up television and instructing on use.  Both technicians were courteous, professional, and kind as I am not all that tech savvy and was disappointed to not have the installation completed and be without TV until the following day when the cable provider came and corrected by faulty cable box.

IT WENT FINE.  NOTHING MORE TO COMMENT ON.

It went fine although they couldn't get it hooked to the internet in our home.
