Everyone at CVA Exterminators were very nice and polite in the whole process. Andres and his co-worker who came to treat the infestation were very professional and explained everything in detail . The extermination was a great success the first time they came around. They came out a second time free of charge just to put a few bait traps to make sure that the last few roches would be exterminated.

CVA Exterminators were good.  Their inspector (Nate) was punctual and took time to explain everything.  Their administrator returns calls in a timely fashion and is great at following up.  The fumigation guys came on time, everything went off without a hitch.  We had to do local treatment on our garage because we're unable to tent it.  That also went well; 6 months later Nate came back out to do a re-inspection and found more problem areas, so they're scheduling follow-up treatments.  Nice to feel like we're in good hands.

This review is LONG overdue. I've had CVA out to my house twice and I believe that both times, it was Nate that came to my door. The first time I called was in August 2013, about a year after we bought our house. We had a very SERIOUS inside-the-house fly problem that we could not figure out. Nate spent close to an hour going all around the house, the yard, on top of the roof, and into the attic in an attempt to figure out where the problem was. He had never seen anything like the problem we have without finding some source (i.e. dead animal, rotting meat) nor did he attempt to sell me any kind of service that would not likely resolve the issue. He simply recommended a trip to Home Depot, and spending a few bucks in an attempt to keep down the outside fly population. He did not charge me a dime for the visit. I was amazed and wrote down all of his contact information because I just knew I would use him in the future. 
The fly problem is rather embarrassing to me and remains unresolved. We keep a clean house and kitchen trash goes out several times a week, but we still have maggots come seemingly out of nowhere about three or four times each summer and then lots of flies inside the house. We have one of those electronic buzz busters INSIDE the house. I have done so much reading about this, keep trying different things, but am unable to find a solution. I absolutely LOVE summer, but find myself wanting it to end because the fly problem then goes away. If they return again next summer, I will be trying to locate a fly "specialist." :-) 
Back to CVA. The second time I called was for the red ants that infiltrated the back yard this summer. Our back yard borders the city wash and there are zillions of ant holes down there. All we can do is keep them at bay. Nate came and sprayed at the end of June and after a couple days, not an ant to be found. He said that they might come back after about 30 days and to call their office if I wanted to set up a regular maintenance plan with them. Only offered.....no hard sell and stated that it really depended on our tolerance level in sharing our yard. The ants stayed away pretty much the entire summer and are just beginning to return now in the numbers that initiated the call. Being that summer is about over, we will probably wait and see for next year. At the time Nate came to our house, the fly problem hadn't materialized yet for this summer or I surely would have mentioned again in the hopes that he might have another idea.  
I really highly recommend CVA and will never use anyone else as long as they are in business which I hope will be for a very long time!

They were friendly on the phone and in person. Nate came and did a great job. The service costs $120.00 but we used the $30.00 off coupon from Angie's list. Great job and we would definitely use them in the future should we need a booster treatment.

Nate came out gave us estimate. One of the best and most complete. I had 6 estimates done. Completed work on time and as described. Even went above and beyond plan. Nate was at site entire day as promised.

It took several attempts, but they corrected the problem.  Over a year later and we have not had one rat.

They did the termite inspection for us which happened to be the best and most thorough. We were so impressed with their inspection that we chose them to do the treatment. Everything went great and we are very happy. They are very professional as well.

They definitely went above and beyond their duty. I thought they were reasonably priced for what they did.  They were honest and friendly, very high quality.

I noticed damage to an exterior door frame and contacted CVA exterminators through their website for a free estimate. They responded to my email within two hours with a phone call to set up an appointment. Dan arrived right on time, was neatly and cleanly dressed, and polite. He patiently explained the difference between subterranean termites (which we had)  and the other kind (we didn't have.) He was professional and  thorough. Dan did not try to upsell me on anything.  I found their price to be reasonable, so I made an appointment for the treatment. On the day of the treatment, Nathan arrived exactly on time. He was very friendly and explained each process in the procedure before he began. He worked quickly and cleanly, and finished in less than two hours, which was within the amount of time he had quoted. The whole experience could not have gone any smoother or easier. I would not hesitate to recommend CVA Exterminators to my friends,.

We just bought a hillside home built down the grade that needed fumigation and subterranean extermination. We got quotes only from the companies that had stellar reviews on Angie's List. The other quotes included  $4,750, $4,825, $4,995, and $5,630. With all things being equal (i.e., high ratings), we felt comfortable going with the lowest bid (CVA Exterminators), knowing that we'd still get quality service.

Our roof had just been redone prior to purchase, so one of the things I was concerned about was breakage of the cement tile shingles, which I understand is a common occurrence due to the force the tarps exert on the edges of the roof when pulled taut to the ground. I'm told Mediterranean red tile roofs have almost 100% breakage around the edge of the roof, so we were fortunate to have cement tiles. In the end there was very little breakage, which, ironically, was not around the edges.

They forgot to deduct the $30 Angie's List coupon, but a single e-mail resolved it lickity split. Overall, we were very pleased with the work done. We'll see how the subterranean treatment holds up, which is under warranty, but I don't foresee any problems.

They were great. They were punctual, very polite and fast. They were excellent overall. I have not seen any termites. I think it is a two-year warranty. It seems fine. They were a little bit higher than everyone else, but on the other hand, they really delivered what they said they would. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

I was away when the tenting occurred and the shower pan was to be replaced as part of the work - but was some how - not completed. When I returned the company was very apologetic and had the work completed within a day or so. There was nothing to clean up, the holes in my porch were filled and other than the shower tile snafu - everything went fine.

He seemed to do what he said he would do. I have no complaints. I haven't had him in the house yet, because we haven't moved in yet. He addressed the issues that an appraiser of the home recommended. They were very available, and they did what they promised. I didn't do a lot of screening, but he seemed to do what I wanted. His customer service was good. I haven't seen the actual work yet.

They came, gave us an estimate and did the work. The whole thing was done very quickly. We have small children and so we had concerns and they took the time to discuss them with us.

They were very responsive. They explained everything in deatil and had a great non-tenting method. Included a three year guarantee for free. They were also very honest and trustworthy.

This was a very nice company. They sent a man who was supposed to be an expert on catching rats. They came back to see if they caught anything in the trap. They said they would continue to check every 2 weeks.

DAN, THE INSPECTOR, WAS COURTEOUS, ON TIME AND WELL PREPARED. HE INSPECTED THE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR OF THE HOME ALONG WITH THE ATTACHED GARAGE. HIS REPORT WAS SENT WITHIN 48 HOURS.
