Was interested in purchasing a car out of state and found Steve with Car Inspectors - we could not be happier with the services provided. I am genuinely blown away at how incredibly thorough Steve was with the pre-purchase inspection we ordered. I had no worries whatsoever about buying the car after seeing the in-depth pictures and videos Steve provided to us. He even went so far as to provide an estimated pricing list for any potential repairs or touch-ups that could be made on the vehicle, as well as his own rating on the car's reliability. Having issues after we bought our vehicle, we sought out the expertise of Car Inspectors. I now wish we would have taken the car to Steve before we bought it. With over 95 photos, several videos and very detailed lists, Steve examined ever inch of the car for a reasonable charge. Steve's response time was quick, and setting up a meeting place was very easy. With his detailed and thorough job, we were able to make the right decision concerning our vehicle. In the future, when purchasing our next used car, we will definitely use Car Inspectors before purchasing. I recommend you do too.

Steve provided me with a very detailed report on a 1981 vehicle including estimates of repair costs for items on this 34 year old car. I not only received about 200 photos, but also about 20 videos of his inspection. He arrived promptly and spent almost 3 hours going over the car according to the seller, who was quite impressed. When the vehicle arrived in Minnesota, I found Steve's description and summary of the condition to be very complete and accurate. After driving the car for a few weeks, I haven't found any items of concern that weren't covered by the report i received (which arrived by email only hours after the inspection).

They seemed to be good, quick and reasonably priced. My wife took the car in. They were quick in getting the estimate to us. They seemed honest. We got a couple of different quotes and they were right on par with everyone else.

Mr. Storey was punctual, polite, and very knowledgeable. He had to disassemble and remove the very heavy front bumper, which includes a winch, to get to the pump for the power steering fluid. He found a failed O-ring, showed me the problem, researched and found a replacement part, and got the car repaired, reassembled, out of the garage and back on the road in a short period of time.

We have a traveling mechanic that works on our cars at North Rop Grumman in Torrance CA. His name is Steve Storey and he works for a company called Car Inspectors. He is AFE certified and has performed work for many of us over the years. I have found him to be competent as well as honest. He brings a truck loaded with tools and performs many engine repairs, as well as brake work and oil changes etc. His prices have been reasonable and because I have been satisfied with his work, I strongly recommend him as an all around automotive mechanic.
