I discussed the job and price, including the senior discount on the phone with Grace. Then, several days later, the technician, Alexandra came to do the job. It went fine, but before she drove away I informed her that I saw from the inside of the garage, that a significant portion of the nest was remaining in the back of the vent. I suggested that this could be removed by hand instead of using the scraper on a pole. Note that this vent was not high up, as it was immediately over the garage door. Alexandra said that she had to go, but would return either later that day or the next day. I had to repeatedly call Alexandra and Grace, and then email over the next four business days, and finally, after talking with Angie, the manager, the job was completed two more days later. I also had to have numerous discussions with Alexandra, and then Grace over several days, to receive my senior discount. In the end, Angie did quickly take care of the discount and explained that they had just fired an employee, causing the shortage of workers. I also noticed later that the pole-scraper evidently chipped off the paint in at least three small places at the entrance of the vent. Finally, now, the wasps have stopped returning, and I have received the 10% discount as advertised in Angie’s List. However, getting to this satisfactory end was like pulling teeth with Grace and Alexandra.
