Wooding Electric

I have received an estimate from Wooding electric that I have accepted for a whole house re-wire. I was very impressed with the detail that Adriel said would go into the project. From moving the sub panel from the garage to the laundry room, adding extra lines to replace my gas appliances and asking if I wanted any new light fixtures or switches/ receptacles. I will post more once the project is started and completed. The project has been completed and I am very satisfied. It was a major project having the entire house re-wired. It took 2 1/2 weeks. They were able to accomplish the entire project with minimal holes being cut into the drywall. Numerous indoor and outdoor lights were replaced, new receptacles and switches installed. New lines were run for future appliance upgrades. (Dryer, Water heater, heat pump). They recommended a person who repaired, patched and textured the drywall holes. It did create quite a big mess throughout the house but that was expected. I'm doing the painting touchups myself as I enjoy painting. I would definitely recommend Wooding Electric for your electric projects. Adriel and his crew were great.

Scott Wooding (owner) came and personally replaced the entire electrical panel in my unit in about 6 hours. Showed up on time, finished on time, very professional work and paid close attention to detail so as not to damage surrounding sheetrock or within the wall space that had to be enlarged to accommodate the new panel. Wooding Electric is fantastic and super professional. It's always hard to find good, honest, knowledgeable and reliable electricians. Wooding Electric is all of those and I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for an electrician for their next project!

Scott worked efficiently, diagnosed the problem and took the necessary steps to correct it. He was friendly and very professional.

Mr Scott Wooding came to my house, diagnosed the problem with my aging fan, pulled the worn out belt, advised he would order the part and return. Return he did, within 30 minutes. Fixed the fan, looked at some other electrical issues I had and resolved them. Delightful gentleman. Will keep his name in my list of reliable businesses in the area. Thank you Scott

Scott was kind and helpful to my mom while figuring out her problem. he quickly solved it, then he offered us two ways forward, and gave me prices to help our decision. We had a mystery problem a few days later that is currently awaiting a solution.

Very expensive diagnostic charges. Guess that is how they make money. Exhaust fan was OK, but the switch needed replaced. The cost of the switch was not much, but to diagnose this fault was overly expensive.

Friendly and professional. Price a bit high for a 15 minute job!

Very friendly & good consult from Adriel. I just wasn't aware there was a $69 trip fee which is fair but I just wasn't aware. Also, they presented me with a monthly club offering which would save me on services which I would have also liked to have known about in advance so I could evaluate in advance of the visit. Had I been made aware in advance, I would have rated higher for value but I'm not one for surprises. I am pleased with the professionalism & work performed by Adriel.

The main complaint I have with Wooding Electric is that the repair was done at a rental property and when I spoke to the gal in the office I told her I wanted an estimate before the work was done. I never got a call to let me know how much the repair would be, and never got a call that the work was done. I had to call my tenant to see if the electrician had been there. I didn't find out how much the repair was going to be until I got the bill in the mail.

Scott Woodings came out and is very personable and knowledgeable

Scott didn't really do any work as the fan is so old that is was not worth fixing. I will hire Scott to install a new fan in the near future.
