Excellent - they were prompt, honest and friendly, and did a thorough job.

They spent a lot of time filling in gaps and nail holes. Floors now look much newer and brighter. This is the 3 time I've used Western Hardwood. I suspect they aren't the least expensive vendor, but they do quality work and are very flexible about getting the work done when you need it, including working around other contractors' schedules when needed.

Overall, very well. There were some tricky areas. 1) Interface to patio door frame was shallow. Mr. Nhu was very creative and used the T-molding I purchased, instead of a reducer, which is what most other floor installers recommended. Reducer would have turned out too big for that area. 2) Interface to tiles in a 1/2 bath. Others would have asked for a T-molding. Mr. Nhu just used grout, and saved me from shaving the door down. 3) Stair nosing. His stair required extra work because the way the lip was constructed. He didn't charge me extra. 4) Another set of stairs required a rounded cut. They did that well as well, without an excess molding. Overall, I am pleased because they were able to save me a lot of money over Expo Design Center - 1) because their prices were cheaper, 2) because they were creative in solving installation problems, so I don't have to buy extra accessory pieces. Only issue is that some of the people sent to do the job were not good in cleanup.

We were very happy with this company. The floors look absolutely brand new. The only inconvenience was that when we returned home from vacation, there was dust everywhere and it required quite a bit of clean up. I was not prepared for this. The man that runs this company (Nhu) really listens to and wants to please the customer. He did not ask for final payment until we were totally happy, having had to come back for some touch up. We would use them again.

THIS COMPANY WAS GOOD AND WE HAD AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. OVERALL, WE WERE IMPRESSED BY HOW PROFESSIONAL THEY WERE AND THE HIGH QUALITY OF WORK THAT THEY DID.
