What they did well and what they failed horribly at. Did well. They got on scene and tore out my damage quickly. But that's the part that guarantees them the contract. And that should have been the end of my relationship with this company. But I took advice from a third party and agreed to allow them to do the rebuild. Failed horribly. Abysmal customer service. Deception, broken promises, long delays, and email threats of backing out leaving the project incomplete. This is something you have to read to believe. I have worked with the federal government in disaster response and recovery for years, and I've seen this type of service way too often when people are at their most vulnerable. If your homeowners association or your insurance company recommens RPI to respond and tear out the damage, and they're willing to pay for it, I say go for it. But RPI is not qualified to do reconstruction. As you'll see in written correspondence directly from the company, they do not have the personnel or the resources to to do the rebuild. They will tell you, that's not our area of expertise. But they won't break the news until halfway through the months delayed project.

We engaged RPI Inc on a large scale restoration of our house after water damage for two reasons - they seemed to have an eye for quality and they could work at the same level of detail as the insurance company.
From a work perspective, people have not turned up as expected and jobs did not get started as promised. And when the workers did turn up we got fed up with their cigarette butts and half eaten food being left all over the place. 
As time drifted on we started to do some of the work ourselves since we want to get back in the house. And even though we did these activities Ryan insists that he still gets paid for the work.
We started to get requests for draws that included numerous items that had not been started. To this day we remain in dispute over this with Ryan insisting that we should pay for work that he has not started or has not finished. 
In short our experience has been a nightmare that has made the whole incident even worse than it already was.  
Steer clear and use the Insurance Company preferred vendor since that will at least get you some leverage..
