They were great and I would definitely use them again.

We originally had an appointment an afternoon appointment a week earlier, but Glenn's morning appointment ran long that time, so we rescheduled. Today his apprentice, Eric, showed up right on time to start looking things over, and Glenn came by a half hour later to evaluate the apprentice's installation plans, and provide an estimated price. Eric performed the install over the next few hours (it was apparently very tricky getting things in and out of the box, because it was a very tight fit). He cleaned up the area afterwards, and we ended up being charged at the low end of the estimated price range.

Glenn came by to evaluate the jobs, and gave a ball-park estimate for how long it would take. He suggested I buy the lights myself from Home Depot, since he didn't have any particular special deal to get that kind of materials in small quantities; he could've just charged for time, and marked up the materials; I thought it was nice of him to be honest about that. I got got the lights, then scheduled to have his apprentice come over and do most of the work (since it was small stuff, nothing complicated like making whole new circuits). The junior electrician came by and did one morning's work getting the lights and a couple of outlets done, then came back another day to do the remaining work; it was 6 hours of work total, which seemed reasonable--about 1 hour for each separate job.

Glen agreed to come and give an estimate to complete the job. He arrived within 10 minutes of the appointed time. He immediately proposed a repair that was simple and direct. He did not exaggerate or inflate the effort the way that other electricians did. They said for example that, "I don't know if I have to run new wire," and "I'll have to trace it and I can't give you an estimate". Glen returned on a later date and completed the job exactly as he said he would. He showed such care and honesty on a relatively small job, that I asked him to give me an estimate on a more extensive job. I will report on that project as well. Throughout all our contacts, he gave direct answers to all my questions and he never exerted any pressure and even helped me to understand that I didn't require some additions that I was considering. He was totally unlike other contractors I spoke to: their tendencies were to pressure me to do more than I required. I would use his services again.

Not only does he work as an outstanding electrical contractor, but he is also a great designer as well. He will sit down and talk with you about your blueprint and ideas. He is the best that I have ever known at his job, simply outstanding. He is very prompt, works with integrity, and delivers what you ask for. He is very punctual, honest about his schedule, and I would recommend him very highly.
