There were significant language barriers in communications.  They did a good general job of mowing and blowing the yard but it was significantly over priced for the caliber of service.  While they were very responsive to my calls, it seemed that the sprinkler system was never adequately adjusted.  Things weren't completed per my requests such as weekly checks of the sprinkler system.

He came to our home to offer us an estimate to finish our backyard. On his business card he listed a contractor's license number, we assumed it to be valid. First big mistake. Before he began any work he asked for half of the total bid amount in cash, stating that he needed it for materials. We gave him an amount smaller than he asked for in a check, but he came back stating he needed it in cash. So we gave it to him. Second big mistake. His workmanship on the base preparation for the concrete was horrible, then he continued to ask for more money to purchase materials. He would say he was going to buy materials and bring it, but then not show up. In the end, we let him go before completing the lawn. Please learn from our mistakes.
