Very responsive they came quickly on a weekend to get the work done. Excellent work I had no complaints. Willing to discuss the various options in a professional way that was not condescending. Price was $1000 less than two other estimates.

It's been awhile, but they were very responsive by phone, came out when they said they would, performed their services quickly, and cleaned up after themselves; they removed all old gutter. And charged a very reasonable price.

It was an excellent experience. They were on time, they were very professional, there estimate was very accurate, and they cleaned up very well.

Dale came to our home and made an estimate for gutter guard and to place another downspout in an area of a dip in a long gutter segment. Dale was very helpful and knowledgeable. His son, Lance did the actual work a few weeks later. Scheduling was easy enough and they were accessible on weekends. Lance is a very courteous, honest worker. He went above and beyond in multiple facets: sealing areas of gutter that the soldering had come apart, cleaning gutter areas that were not included in the price, and painting a segment of gutter extension we had asked for. He was 2 hours late, but called an hour before the expected time, telling me his work was going to make him about 2 hours late. Dale and Lance are very responsive, responsible, and honest. I will definitely encourage my friends and family to use their services.

Everything was positive, but when he put the downspout in, the color was not quite what I had described to him over the phone. I'm not too concerned with it though. I felt his price was reasonable.

One of the employees of the company came, we discussed the situation and he gave us an estimate of the cost per foot of what we were asking. He gave us the estimates separately so that we could decide if we wanted just the cleaning or both the cleaning and the screen installation. He then came back a couple of days later and spent around 3 hours cleaning the gutters and installing the screens.

Dale, the owner, provided me with an estimate several months before I authorized him to do the work. By that time it was in the middle of the rainy season and I needed his help. He did the work in between the rains and completed it promptly. There was one area where a downspout goes through a deck that he came back and repaired after he had been paid - a sign of a good contractor and honest man. The only reason it was not done initially was due to a misunderstanding. I am pleased with the work, with the price and the timeliness of the company's response to my needs.

Great. Work was timely, well-done, and much cheaper than other estimates.

I live in the Santa Cruz Mountains and once I told Dale that over the phone that I was looking for gutter services he actually didn't want to come up the mountain to give me an estimate. We traded several phone calls and I finally agreed to have the work done without an estimate knowing it would be pretty hard to find someone else to come up the hill. He arrived about 15 minutes before I got back to the house and was informing my wife that his charge would be over $400 even though he admitted to me when I saw him that the square feet of the gutters was less than what we talked about on the phone (again, he didn't give me an estimate before doing the work). I had to ask him his rates and we did the calculations in his truck. After that, I was happy that I wasn't being taken for a ride.

Estimate given in timely manner. Proceeded with work on time. Work quality was great. Even worked in rain. I have worked with other gutter companies and can tell you that you get what you pay for. This company is not CHEAP, however, the crew they use is experienced and when you plan to do this once every 10-15 years, its worth it. Only suggestion for improvement is to make the estimates a little MORE clear. Perhaps try to make them easier for not so knowledgable people (such as myself) to read.

Lance and Dale were a bit hard to get a hold of, but once we connected they were very pleasant and were very easy to work with. Lance came to do the estimate and gave me 3 options as to how much work he recommended. I asked that they not walk on the roof and they were fine with that. Lance worked very quietly as I was working inside the house that day, and when I told him I would not be there when he finished the job, he said he'd be happy to return the next afternoon to show me what he had done and collect payment then. The next day, Dale came instead, but was just as patient in explaining and pointing out the work that had been done. He said that Lance had underestimated how badly the gutters were clogged, but had gone ahead and done much more work that he'd anticipated with the estimate. Fortunately for me, they didn't charge me any more for that! Overall, I was very happy with the work and got a good feeling working with Lance and Dale.

Lance came on a Sunday and made measurements and talked to me about some of the options for routing the downspouts. The next day he made the gutters off site and installed them in just a few hours and everything fit great. So far we had one rain and it looks like they are working as designed.

They were very responsive and friendly. They gave us a quick estimate, which was well written and detailed. They gave us several options, along with the price of each option. When they performed the work, they were efficient and did a good job. The screens they installed protect our gutters so they don't need to be cleaned as often. I would do business with them again.

The entire process was handled over the phone, as I was out of town when I needed the work done. Dale was very helpful throughout the process, and the work was done to my complete satisfaction. Some of the gutters were two stories high, and the space on two sides of the house is quite narrow, so it was not an easy job.

Dale was great, called back in a very reasonable amount of time, fit me into his estimating appointments within another day or so, and made some very good recommendations. It's obvious he knew what he was talking about regarding installing gutters, but also about protecting buildings from water. I learned it's not just about getting water to flow off the roof! He left two samples of gutter sizes and a sheet of color choices, and as soon as I called back with what we wanted, he scheduled my job and got the work done in a few hours on the day the crew came out. Competent and professional. Definitely would have this company back again.

I originally tried to contact Dale by e-mail. That was not successful - no response. I then called during normal business hours and reached Dale directly, He quickly scheduled an appointment, and all went as described above. It hasn't really rained yet, so I can't honestly comment on the quality of the work. I'm guessing from reading previous comments by Angie's List users that it will be fine.

They started early in the morning and finished around 4pm. They were very professional, courteous, very hardworking, and friendly team. They cleaned up afterward and I was very pleased with their work . Also, it was a pleasure meeting with Dale. He was extremely knowledgeable especially in the back patio gutter where he had to cap the existing OGEE gutter with the new aluminum gutter. I would hire them again for a future job.

Dale owns L&L gutter. He seems to me to be the embodiment of Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence people. He was out the day a called to supply an estimate. My mother-in-law loved him (I wasn't home). He was flexible on the timing of the work. I was in a hurry and juggling a lot of other things. We were on the phone a lot for several days. But his son and and assistant were out within a week and the gutters look great.

They installed the system for us about a year ago, so that is one of the reasons that we called them. They did not charge us to fix it. It only took them about 20 minutes. There was one person doing the work.

They were very nice and everything. They showed up on time and did a very good job. I am very happy with them. I had to have the place painted before they could install the new gutters. Before I had it painted, they charged me $50 to come out and take down the old gutters. Then, two weeks later, they came back and installed the new ones. After the repainting was done. We scheduled it about a month in advance.

Project was completed thoroughly, professionally, on time, at price quoted. Dale was great to work with, very experienced, his team gets the job done, quickly, neatly, on time and cares about customer satisfaction.

It went okay. I wish I could have seen the work, but it's too high up. I'll have to wait until rainy season.

The gutters on my house were in desperate need of repair (paint & screening) or replacement. I contacted L&L Gutters on a Saturday by phone and left a message. I got a call back that day and Dale Thompson from L&L came right on time to provide a quotation. Dale's estimate was the most thorough and the lowest price as well. I contacted Dale after receiving other quotes and inquired when I could get the work done and he gave me several options. I asked how long it would take and he said, "one day." I picked a day and Dale and his crew arrived on time at 8:30 am. We did a final walk around to make sure we agreed on the scope of work and they commenced. By about 8:30 pm, that day, they were completely finished. And the work that they did was exceptional.

I talked with Dale, the owner and described the job. He gave me a ballpark figure over the phone. He seemed very knowledgeable so I decided to go ahead and contract with him. When I called back, he asked me the color of the eves and color of the house and we set up a date and time for the work to be done. The crew showed up on time, were professional and completed the job in less than an hour. The colors of the materials blend well with my house. I would hire them again.

I had a very neutral experience with this company. I would not say that they did excellent work, but they did a good job. I was pleased with the service and I would probably use them again.
