Regarding the price - I had my request to accept her $170 quote in email / writing which she disregarded and said they 'assumed' I was accepting the biweekly service and knew about the first time hourly rate.
Also, cleaners broke a window blind and did not tell me and left a dirty pot on the stove.
Horrible experience, extremely unprofessional.
"(removed member name) requested an estimate for recurring cleaning services on 1/21/2015. We came out to her home and provided the estimate as she requested. On the Service Agreement which we gave her with the quote, it clearly states that the First-Time Cleaning is charged at an hourly basis $35/hour per person and below that is the rate for the Bi-Weekly service of $170 flat rate. Although we provided Melissa with this estimate in person during her appt, after she called and scheduled the first time cleaning (which took a team of 2 people 5.5 hours for a 5 bdrm/4bath home), she claimed that she had no idea that the first cleaning was going to be charged at an hourly rate, and that she shouldn't be responsible to pay it because it had never been discussed. We tried to reason with her and told her that we will try to work something out, and offered to compensate the difference in services going forward, but she angrily insisted on paying only $170, and hung up on us. The next day we called her back and let her know that we would refund her $215 (taking a loss for the job), just to provide good customer service, even though our rates were in writing on the document that we gave her, but even then she wasn't satisfied and she threatened to write a negative review about us."
