Scheduling the quote and installation was very smooth. The installer arrived promptly. The installation was completed and the garage door works great. I replaced a very old one piece door with a roll up and there were slight modifications that were required to the door frame. While the door was installed and operates as intended, the modifications to the door frame were a bit 'rough.' In addition, while taking down the old frame my hardware rack on the wall was damaged. I had to discover the damage later as opposed to being told by the installer.

Just had three garage doors installed by Frank. A spectacularly good job! If you haven't had one of those old fashioned single-piece garage doors replaced with a modern sectional door, it's a real construction project and Frank couldn't have done a better job with real attention to detail. Everything looks great. The whole process from the estimate from George, scheduling by Virginia and installation by Frank could not have been easier or gone better. Another great, top-quality offering by Costco.

Knowing that it is narrower than most 2 car garage doors, I was worried about being able to get 4 horizontal panels to achieve a carriage style look. So, before ordering I mocked up and faxed a picture of the door and asked if it could be done and was reassured as "no problem" by GSGD. After a lengthy 6-8 week delay blamed on manufacturing by Amarr, the door arrived. Unfortunately, it was either misordered by GSGD or mismanufactured by Amarr, such that instead of my plan for 4 panels it has 3 panels and no hardware. This entirely defeats the intended carriage style look, and instead looks awkward. The installer Arturo immediately noticed the problem before unpacking the new door but had already dismantled my old door, so had to install the new door anyway and promised a replacement. However, after the installation, I have not had any success in addressing the problem, leaving GSGD many unanswered messages over many weeks. I am considering filing a complaint with Costco or BBB.

One of the two torsion springs broke and was replaced. The broken was removed and the technician also tightened the chain that was loose and lubricated all moving parts on the door. The lubrication quieted the noise opening the door creates and he went over a function on the remote we didn't know how to use. He gave me a quote on installing a new garage door opener if it needs to be done in the future as it was very old. There was a delay to coming to do the service but he came over the Santa Cruz mountains to fix the door which only took 30 minutes to fix. Drive time is 45 minutes from San Jose. I will definitely use the company again when I need repairs in the future. Excellent service.

The company responded immediately and sent someone to my home within 2 hours of the initial phone call. Bruce fixed the problem and was friendly and professional. He gave me some advice on things we could do to make the garage door quieter and assured me he would come back if there were any more problems.

George was here promptly to fix my garage door, he was pleasant and I would do business with him anytime. If you have garage door repair service, this is the company to go to. Good service is difficult to find, highly recommended!

THEY SENT OUT AN ESTIMATOR WITHIN 2 DAYS OF MY PHONE CALL. HE LOOKED AT THE JOB SITE, AND GAVE US SEVERAL SUGGESTIONS. THERE WAS A HOLDUP WITH SHIPMENT, AND WE DID NOT RECEIVE THE DOOR FOR 6 WEEKS WHEN TOLD WE WOULD GET IT IN 3 WEEKS.
