The crew was experienced, friendly, hard-working, and customer-satisfying. After establishing a contract, they lived up to expectations and beyond. With a firm, competitive quote, the job was done quickly and expertly. They landscaped the yard and replaced the driveway with pavers. I believe in the companyâ s fairness and expertise.

Great work and reasonable pricing made this company an easy choice but the thing we so appreciated about Scott and team is the responsiveness and commitment to meet our goals. Each time we had an idea, Scott was more than happy to see how we could make it happen. This company completely gained our trust and has completed projects for many of our friends as well. Finished the installation of new driveway concrete in Jan 2011. Price is low. Quality, so far so good. I would give 5 star for this part. But they did not clean up the mess. The owner emailed me in March 2011 saying :"I can run over the dirt with a compactor when it dries out a bit if you want." Now it is July. Though I emailed him many times, no respond. If u want to clean up the messy yourself, go ahead to hire them. Otherwise, I would not recommend this company.

I have had a very good experience working with Scott. He poured stamped concrete for a large driveway, walkways and backyard patio. He also laid synthetic lawn in back yard and new sod in front yard. He completed all stages of the project on time. His crew cleans up at the end of the day. Scott is very accessible by phone or email. The job is almost complete and I feel very good about the result. The one area that was not quite as smooth was getting the right language into the quote so that we both knew up from what was expected.

They came in and did job in correct amount of time and everything went well.

Had a driveway and and some walkway's paved. Driveway was stained, stamped, and glaze coated. Workmanship and quality of work is very good. Overall very happy with the work. He even created an additional raised divider to keep out the dirt of our front yard and did not charge us for it even though it wasn't part of our original estimate. Having said that, I think we did have a small cost surprise about a small patch of concrete paved elsewhere. So I would definitely recommend making sure estimates and agreements are more detailed and clear. Excellent work. Highly recommended.

Scott Tavares was a pleasure to deal with. He responded to my request for quote immediately and was able to schedule and do the job very quickly. His price was by far the best out of the four contractors that quoted and he supervised and followed the job from start to finish. I am extremely happy with the results and would highly recommend him.

Great communication skills, punctual, dependable, did everything he said he would. He and his work crew were all skilled. The job they did was excellent. We had them do a vinyl fence installation that was stepped - much more complicated than one that is sloped requiring precise calculations before cutting. I watched them throughout and they were very careful and did it perfectly. The next day they were back to do all the hardscape installations. Again, excellent work. We were consulted at every step to be sure what we had in mind (placement of forms, etc.) was correct. Nothing had to be redone. Scott is great to work with.

Installed replacement driveway in an efficient and professional manner. Job satisfactory except fro a hairline crack that developed when dry.

Scott was great to work with. He was very competitive with pricing and worked with us to meet our budget. Follow-up during the bid process with quick answers to our questions was excellent. Scott was open to adjustments and made recommendations, yet he was not pushy and respected our desires. The work was done in a very timely way and our driveway and walk look great.

Scott replaced a huge old solar water heater with a 50 gallon water heater, completed the job in the time frame I requested, and cleaned up afterwards nicely. Originally I had wanted a tankless water heater, but turned out this was out of my expected price range. Scott gave me a good price estimate on this job and stuck to it -- no surprises. I highly recommend him.

Re: Porch around perimeter of home and site hardscape/sidewalks. Prior to start, Scott provided ample literature of concrete colors, stamps, finishes, and photos of completed projects so that my wife and I could make a selection we would enjoy for many years to come. His team was very attentive to our schedule and completed the work upon the day promised. Daily, they cleaned up after themselves and left our yard in tidy condition considering we were in the middle of a project. Wonderful! We are very satisfied with the finished product and would recommend Tavares Construction to anyone considering concrete construction work.

Scott's team did a great job, and I would recommend Tavares Construction to my friends. Scott showed up on time, provided constructive advice about the job and knew what needed to be done. Scott met with me a 2nd time right before the job started to make sure all the details were correct. Scott and his team were friendly, showed up promptly every day and cleaned up every night. The patio looks great and was done in just 4 days.

He installed a pergola on our school playground and installed a water faucet for us. He was willing to do the job on Saturdays, and even came early one morning to finish the project.

Overall, a great experience, Scott came out promptly and looked at the job site which was a challenge because the backyard needed to be graded and cemented in a very large area. He gave us an estimate and suggested colors and textures. Once we decided on the job he scheduled things promptly and his crews showed up on time. They worked quickly and efficiently with a minimum of mess. They had the back dug out and graded in two days. After that the concrete pour and cleanup happened within the next week. Throughout the process Scott checked with us and asked questions if anything came up. He was also very accessible at all times.

I have never been so pleased, they were very attentive to their work. It was a modular home, everything was done in 3 months. The landscaping was excellent.
