He wrote what he was going to do, and he is going to put in sod and he will follow up on that. We are having a drought right now, so I have to wait to get the work done. The estimate was very close to other peoples. I went with him because he wrote up a great contract.

Stephen and his group did a spectacular job!  His initial visit was to discuss how we wanted to use the outdoor areas, our overall design style, and budget.  He had lots of great ideas and really helped us refine the project.  Zuzanna took all the ideas and created a fantastic blueprint that turned all of our ideas into reality.  Bernardo and his team were extremely pleasant, detail-oriented, worked extremely hard, and did a great job cleaning up every day they were here (even on Saturdays).  The final product is absolutely beautiful and better than our wildest expectations.

I hired Eni-Ko based on Angie's List reviews and I was so fortunate to pick them over others.  I didn't get any other quotes because from the moment I spoke with him, I knew he and his crew were the ones.  
Stephen is a very honest, personable, and in his professional business interactions, sort of a relic of times gone by.  Whereas most people or companies that I have dealt with where hyper concerned with an ever more competitive space for home services, Stephen's focus is on the customer.  He gave me an aggressive quote and swore that it would never increase in cost.  After I tacked on about (what I estimate) $400 worth of extras, he simply charged me $80 more.  It was phenomenal.  Especially when considering all that they did extra, at no cost, without being asked.  They added a new water spigot in the back of the yard, moved a tree to a new location, replanted old plants to the front of the house, fixed the irrigation system there at the front of the house, replaced my old drippers with better ones, and installed my lighting fixtures all at NO COST!  I am just floored.  
The yard looks better than I expected.  It looks absolutely perfect and I can truly say that my expectations were exceeded.
I think that's Stephen's way, to exceed his clients expectations and provide top notch service to them.  That's how he gets his business, not by low-balling on estimates.  That's what I mean being a relic of times gone by.  
I highly recommend them and I think you should even toss out other quotes even if his are a bit higher, it's well worth it and he WILL exceed your expectations.

After an exterior remodel last year our lawn was trashed. We had over grown hedges, a falling down fence and dead grass. Stephen gave us a reasonable price and his crew was very professional and they did a good job. I gave them a deadline for finishing (a 4th of July party) and was a little nervous that it would be done but they made it. Stephen is friendly and easy to deal with..

The work was performed outstandingly and I am happy to recommend him.

We got 3 bids. Stephen was not the lowest but we felt that he understood what we wanted and kept costs within reason. The big part of the job was getting the flagstone installed on the porch and in existing gaps in the front walk. This took 3-4 days of two men working. Once that was finished the new landscaping was quickly installed. The crew also repaired our irrigation system. I liked that I was able to go with Stephen to the wholesale nursery and pick out specific trees. Also we discovered an existing gas line leak and had to stop work for a few days in order to get it repaired. Stephen's flexibility was remarkable. I would definitely use Eni-Ko again for future landscaping projects.

He was good and amazing. The retaining wall that he built was handsome, very reasonable and was very helpful in telling us how it would look like and how it would work. Everything about his service was amazing. The overall work went on fine. He handled unexpected problems in piping and sprinkler problems very well. The retaining wall is handsome and well constructed. He was very quick. Everything was excellent like the service, price and the people. He really takes time to explain everything in detail. I would rate him high overall and would use him again in the future.

We were very pleased with the work that was done by Eni-Ko. They offered an excellent price and stuck to it except where we decided to add plants or trees beyond the original quote. The work was done quickly and professionally and we are very happy with the results.

I can't say enough about how well it went. Bernardo the foreman and his crew work incredibly hard. They did a fabulous job with the small details which often separate a good job from a great job. The finishing work on the steps, around the porch and the capped walls is superb. They took great care with the seal between the pool coping and the pavers. Only once did Bernardo and I have different interpretations of what the plans called for. It was on the steps and when I pointed it out to him he changed it immediately - no big discussions, no moaning or persuading, no leaving it unchanged hoping to get me to change my mind - just corrected immediately.

They were very nice to work with. They were very reliable and honest. We didn't have any problems with them. We had used them five years ago for other jobs. They are very professional and extremely responsive.
