BAY AREA CANVAS & PATIO

They are busy, so it took longer than I wanted for installation, but then I wanted it yesterday.  The "pop-up" vent came with scroll metalwork my wife wasn't expecting.  They disassembled and remove the unwanted part, welded a support member and painted the work.  The finished work is very professional, and looks beautiful.
They also offered to provide a valance (drop down extension of canvas) for the vent to prevent water for entering the cooking area under the vent. That was done today and looks great.

They stood by their product and had everything done without arguing with me. I was impressed.

Good job overall. They require 50% down and it took close to a month after I had paid the down payment to have the awning installed. The installers were very quick and professional.

The job went fine and the awning has been sturdy and it looks good. Checked on a replacement of the canvas and it's more than half the cost of the whole awning which I thought was a bit much. Would look to keep the canvas clean to avoid having to do this.

Called several awing company's on your list, closet shop was way too expensive for what I needed. Contacted Bay Area Canvas who worked from a fax I sent, we had several telephone conversations and settled on what I needed. Took deposit over the phone, went to shop to pick out fabric, completed the manufacture of the awing on schedule. Picked up the awing and installed it with the provided hardware in about 15 minutes. Very satisfied.

THE EXPERIENCE WITH THEM WAS PRETTY GOOD. THEY WERE QUITE RESPONSIVE TO OUR PHONE CALLS. THE FIRST SET OF WORKERS WHO CAME OUT TO DO THE INSTALLATION WERE NOT AS PROFESSIONAL AS THE SECOND SET OF WORKERS WHO DID THE INSTALLATION FOR THE SECOND ORDER.
