He is dependable and professional. If he is running a little late, he calls to let you know. He cares about customer satisfaction-he asked me to check his placement of the sink to make sure I was happy, before he calked it in.

Steve was able to come and fix my broken toilet 30 hours after I called Williams Plumbing. Thank goodness, I have 2 toilets. Steve showed up exactly when he said he would, and was very easy to deal with. He worked super fast and was able to fix my toilet in about 30 minutes.  He replaced quite a few pipes and hardware pieces, so I thought the $107 was extremely reasonable.  I will definitely use Steve/Williams Plumbing again, nobody else!

Steve from Alfred Williams Plumbing arrived on time both days that he worked for us.  This gentleman did such a good job for my 90-year old mom's 63 year old house and was so professional and respectful of my mom and the house.  He carefully explained potential problems that might occur (there weren't any, thankfully), and he very carefully cleaned areas around the sinks/vanity as well as cleaning up after himself.  The cost of service includes the American Standard toilet that he picked up from Home Depot for us, and when he left, I noticed that there was a hair-line crack in the rim of the toilet.  I called Steve right away and explained the problem, and he told me he would come back either that afternoon (Friday) or Saturday to correct the problem.  He came back after 4:00 the same day with new toilet in tow, and swapped it out in about 20 minutes.  Such good service!  Mom and I are very pleased and would highly recommend Alfred Williams Plumbing, especially Steve.  We would use them again in a heartbeat.

I appreciated that they took my small job. I had purchased the water heater from another provider. I contacted Mr. Williams and he picked up the water heater. He removed the old, installed the new one, and put in good fittings (made in USA) for the water heater in 4 hours. He was very knowledgeable about plumbing! He is now my #1 plumber!

Part A: Several days ago, I called Steve to repair our KWC kitchen faucet, a one handle faucet that was grinding and becoming difficult to rotate. When he finished by replacing a cartridge and making some adjustments (I had ordered a spare cartridge which had been sent free of charge), everything seemed fine, with Steve checking with me to see if all seemed well. That took 30-40 minutes and the charge was $75 which seemed more than fair.
Part B: When my wife came home, she noticed that the water was running under less pressure, and the cold water was not as cold as it had been. We called Steve again to explain all and to ask him to come back out, never discussing price. I felt that since I had signed off on his initial work, we, not Steve, should definitely be responsible for this second trip,so I was prepared to pay the same amount as before. It took him about 45 minutes or so to diagnose and completely fix all to our satisfaction, after which he made a quick exit out our door. At first, we thought he had gone to his truck to write up the bill, but then we realized that he might actually be leaving. I went out quickly and found that the latter was the case, at which point I stopped him and told him we expected to pay and asked him what the charge was. He left it completely up to me, highly unusual in this day and age. Anyway, you couldn't ask for a more competent, more professional or more honest person than Steve, and I would certainly recommend him very highly to anyone.

He is excellent, use him for everything.

Steve was punctual (actually arrived a few minutes early), efficient, and professional in his work. I would definitely use his services the next time I have a plumbing problem.

As soon as he knew what had to be done, he went right to work. He worked quickly and efficiently, knowing exactly what had to be done. When he was finished, he made certain to clean up. I really like the way he works and the work that he did. In fact, that's why I called him this time. He had done some plumbing work for me about four to five years ago.

I will say that they are good for smaller jobs. We called them to have them bid on a bigger job, he is the only one, so larger jobs are a little out of their scope. He does good quality and he takes the time to do the job right. We have had them do a variety of things and it went well.

Everything went great, I also happened to buy a new kitchen faucet and Steve offered to install it for a decent price (since he was already under the sink!)

Steve was right on time, did the work, cleaned up well, and everything worked fine. Just exactly what I had hoped for.
Will certainly use him the next time.

I called and he was at my house within an hour. He knew what he was doing. He was clean and did his work quickly. I was very happy with him.

Steve came late in the day to give an estimate and had to return the next week to complete the repairs. It involved removing a small section of wall and putting in a new connection, a big job. He left the area very clean and even the washer repair man admired the job he did.

We had self-installed a water heater and were having trouble soldering the pipes, so we called Alfred Williams plumbing to come out and finish the job. He returned my call within five minutes and came out to look at the situation within an hour. He found that several of the pipes within the house (which was built in the 1950s) were not up to code, nor was the gas line, and offered to bring them up to code and that he could come back in the evening to complete the job. We agreed and he returned on time at 4pm and fixed the pipes that were not up-to-code, and basically had to completely reinstall the water heater to do so. He completed the work in a few hours and we had hot water by 9pm.
Very professional, very courteous, on-time, and high quality work. I felt the price was very good for the work that was performed, to bring the house up to code as well as reinstall the water heater.
