George had installed some Solatube skylights in my hallway a couple years ago, and this year he "talked me" to get one more in the living room. They have really nice new ceiling fixtures... it looks great. He installed it at the same visit, even though I had not scheduled for that. no hustle, just happy to "Brighten my day" as he said.
Now I can enjoy nice evenings by the fire without worrying about safety, and during the day, my house is bright as day!
I recommend them for anything to do with fireplaces and also I highly recommend the Solatube skylight. It's a great way to get natural light.
