STUTTGART MOTORS

First let me say that I've been working on cars as an enthusiast for over forty years.  I am better than most home shop mechanics and have rebuilt many engines, from motorcycles to Mercedes diesels.  I know and love cars.  I will tackle almost any automotive job because I am a perfectionist and have been let down by many so-called "professional"  mechanics. I am also an engineer.

I initially thought that the ball joints on my Mercedes were worn because I heard some grinding when turning the steering wheel while stopped.  I do my own work on this car and had replaced these ball joints about 10 years ago myself. I figured that they needed to be replaced again but didn't want to rent the ball joint press and go through a week of not having my car so I scheduled Eigis to replace both front ball joints for me.  To my surprise he found that the noise was due to a worn tie rod end and replaced it instead.  Problem fixed. He could have easily replaced the ball joints and the tie rod end which would have cost a lot more and I would have been none the wiser.

I appreciate having an honest and skillful mechanic work on my car.  And what's even more impressive is that his prices are fair. 

You won't go wrong having Stuttgart Motors work on your German car. 

Great. This man really knows his cars. He is very good,
explains things. He told me how he was going to approach the job (stages of
diagnostics) and what he would do at each stage. He found the problem quickly,
was able to get me a good deal on the parts needed and wrapped up the job
quickly. He is very through so it may not be the fastest place to go for
repairs, but I would rather have the job done right and last then to get it at
noon instead of 5pm.

I needed to get a smog check. I failed the first time, but they were able to fix it so that I passed with flying colors. He even took it to the smog place and had the test done for me. Great guy.
