The company operates as a parasite within the community. They charge people a subscription fee for what is a free service in America--Craigs List. When you call them on it they immediately tell you that they don't do it without permission. This is patently untrue. They are in violation of Craigs List rules as well. To make matters worse, they don't even copy all of your listing accurately, dropping certain things from the listing. Do not fall prey to these people. Do not pay for a subscription service with this company as many of the ads are open source (no fee) ads derived from Craigs List and other open sources.
Description of Work: Preferred Rental Service is a on-line rental location service in the Santa Barbara, CA area. They literally steal ads from sources like Craigs List and republish them within their own subscription-only service. They then copyright the narrative information, and charge a fee to their users. They do not ask permission to use the ads. They simply 'lift' them from their sources.
