In our move to Santa Barbara from Sonoma County, I did not have a place for approximately 60 cases of wine at our new house. I planned to prepare a location as soon as possible, but in the meantime I needed a temperature controlled wine storage facility. There are several in the Santa Barbara area, and Goleta Valley Mini Storage (AKA Goleta Valley Self Storage) had an available space at a very fair price. I moved the wine in (just barely) and over the course of the next months visited the facility to remove or add wine as necessary. At all times Lynn or one of her staff was available to open the main door to the refrigerated room, inside which are a number of self-locked storage areas of different sizes. She would leave me to get what I needed and then lock up as I left. The facility is well-insulated and has sufficient cooling capacity to maintain the appropriate temperature (55-56 degrees) inside. Lynn's excellent customer service attitude was very evident when I finished my own storage and gave fairly short notice that I would be moving my wine. Not only was this OK with Lynn, when it turned out that my automatic bank payment had just been made for an additional month, she immediately sent the check back to me. High marks for this facility and staff!
