FAST LANE AUTO LUBE

Took my car in on a Saturday for an oil change. They got my car done in a reasonable amount of time (about 45 minutes) even though they seemed very busy. I was satisfied with the service, the only thing I didn't like was the price. 55 dollars seems steep for a oil change using conventional oil. I noticed a change with synthetic costs 100 dollars! However this is my first oil change since moving to the area, and since everything seems to be expensive here, maybe it's the norm. I also dinged them on professionalism because I heard one of the employees yelling and cursing about something. That doesn't really bother me, but I know it would for some customers.

I'm sure the work done was done competently, but I was bamboozled into getting work done that didn't need to be done, i.e., the engine flush and new air filter. The $154 price included both a coupon for the oil change ($49.95) and $15 off the work that didn't need to be done in the first place. If you are sure what you need done (and not), it's probably a fine place to go. Just don't trust them to be honest about what needs doing.
