CEC Electrical Services

All communication was with Jason the owner. CEC installed an electrical panel for us. It started with them quoting us $2500 then changing the price to $3500. They then installed the electrical wiring externally around our patio when we requested it to be wired through our attic (standard practice according to other local electric companies). They told us no. The wiring was not attached to house, buckled out infront of our patio door and was a fall hazard. I asked the owner to return to properly attach to house and he said no, we'd have to pay extra for that. Edison came out to reconnect their wire ( running from electrical pole) to our roof and told us the way CEC had connected it was a MAJOR FIRE RISK. the wiring could have slipped out of the tape they used and lit our house on fire. To top it off, the owner of CEC threatened to put a lien on our house if we didn't pay right away after I kindly requested he attach the external wiring to house because it was a fall hazard, before paying. CEC WAS/IS A NIGHTMARE. DO NOT HIRE THEM.

Everything went well. Work was completed in less than 15 minutes and I have had no problems.

They ran 220v lines so I could install and operate several pieces of equipment. Accommodations were made going into Xmas, which I appreciated, and it allowed my business to finish work before year end! No questions, I highly recommend CEC.

Had him install commercial lighting and Electrical outlets. Instructed him and his assistant about what the needs were. They proceeded to install electrical totally disregarding the instructions. Assistant was worthless and wasted a lot of time which we were billed for. Outdoor light fell off one day after they installed it. Too many discussions with this contractor who was always taking other calls while on the job and seemed more intent in getting future business then attending to the business at hand. Never around when we had a problem and had his assistant do most of the work. Much of it had to be corrected. Avoid using if possible.

Jason, the owner, gave me a quote of $150 total to install two ceiling fans. He and his assistant arrived on time and installed both fans in an hour. Both units are working fine. I plan to have them back to install a ceiling light in my den. I found them to be professional and courteous and would recommend them for this type of electrical service.

Jason Carlton is the owner of CEC Electrical Services & has done extensive work on our aging wiring in a house originally constructed in the 1940's. He has been working on & off here for several years, so I think we are very qualified to rate his work. His communication has always been clear and quick. He's an upbeat kind of guy which is great when someone is spending hours in your home. He responds quickly when problems come up and takes care of them. He's always been punctual & on those occasions when something unforeseen has come up, he always has called to explain and reschedule, if necessary. He's been flexible & patient while we've gone back & forth with ideas about what we want to do & fixtures we want to install. I highly recommend him.
